Madison Francis Madison Francis 6'2" | SF Lancaster High | 2025 State NY | NY Royals| 6’2’’| SG/SF
Francis is one of the best freshman prospect in the state. No matter what the defense tries to take away from Francis, she has a counter for it. If you cut off her angle in one direction, she will change up and beat you the other way. If you sag off Francis, she will shoot over the top of the defense. She can post up and finish with either hand, handle the ball in transition, and make dynamic plays. Francis is also a force on defense who can defend multiple positions and protect the rim. Her jaw-dropping play led to an offer from the University of Florida a few weeks ago.
Jordanna Schrecker Jordanna Schrecker 5'9" | PG New Dorp | 2025 State NY | Hoopers NY| 5’9’’| PG
Schrecker has received offers from Butler University, Georgetown, and Western Kentucky, just to name a few. When Schrecker repeatedly destroys her opponents, you understand why colleges are after her this early. Schrecker has blinding speed going coast to coast and weaves in and out of defenders as well as anyone. The lefty point guard also has a lethal jump shot and unlimited range. Schrecker has the greenest of green lights and confidently lets shots fly from anywhere on the court while converting at a high clip.
Veralyn Aviles Veralyn Aviles PG Murry Bergtraum | 2025 State NY | New Heights| 5’7’’| PG
Aviles can fill up the scoring column and can do most of her damage from the perimeter. I like how Aviles asserts herself on offense and sets the tone early in the game. She has a pretty three-point stroke and is a good shot creator and shot-maker off the dribble. Aviles has good size and strength for the point guard position and uses it to get to her spots and teeth of the defense easily.
Isabela Grant Isabela Grant 6'2" | PF Blair Academy | 2025 State NJ | Castle Athletics| 6’2’’| PF
I like Grant’s upside going forward. She had a great weekend at GymRat Live in Albany, New York, and was impressive on defense. Grant was very active and alert, anchoring Castle’s backline, and made a few emphatic rejections. Grant has good hands and made difficult catches in the lane leading to easy finishes. Grant wears her opponent out with her size, and she can be a walking double-double because not many prospects have the strength to push Grant from underneath the basket.
