This is the most comprehensive class to date for PGH NJ, meaning we’re going to have plenty to talk about. Let’s start out our coverage of the 2025 prospect rankings with a look at the top five prospects, three of which are on Morris Catholic.
No. 1: Mia Pauldo Mia Pauldo 5'7" | CG Morris Catholic | 2025 State NJ – 5-7 CG, Morris Catholic
It only made sense for us to rank the Pauldo twins as the top two players in this class because they were the two most highly-anticipated freshman coming into the year and they’ve lived up to expectations and then some. Of the two, Mia is the more gifted scorer and more dominant player looking at her stats. She put together a 21.9/7.8/5.6 stat line with 61 made three-pointers and 3.9 steals a game. Pauldo was part of a three-headed monster that Morris Catholic has from just its freshman class.
No. 2: Mya Pauldo Mya Pauldo 5'7" | CG Morris Catholic | 2025 State NJ – 5-7 CG, Morris Catholic
From Mia, we go to Mya, a fantastic player in her own right who is less of a shooter and more of a shot-creator inside the perimeter. She put up near 16/5/5 stats this season and excelled at dribble penetration in the lane. Pauldo has done a fantastic job at maturing into her role this season, looking to pass more often and create scoring opportunities through turnovers created on the defensive end. The ceiling is only continuing to grow with both, but for Mya, the more she can draw contact in the lane and find her inside presence, the better she’ll continue to get.
No. 3: Daniella Matus – 5-10 SG, Morris Catholic
Matus completes the three-headed monster for Morris Catholic, absolutely dominating on the floor from beyond the arc. She personifies many of the traits of a 3&D type player, knocking down nearly 3 three-pointers a game while putting together a strong defensive package. Her 1.6 steals a game were fourth on the team with plenty of room to improve. Averaging nearly 15 points a game as a freshman is no easy task, yet Matus and her shooting made that happen.
No. 4: Paradise Fisher Paradise Fisher 5'6" | PG University | 2025 State NJ – 5-6 PG, University
Fisher has already shown herself to be a play-making point guard who will flirt with triple-doubles as her high school career matures on. Her 13.5/4.5/5 numbers this season brought with it stability and promise for University, who went on to win a state title. Fisher played a big role in that state title run, facilitating teammates while showing an ability to create her own shots. She’s not a player overly reliant on perimeter shooting as instead, her game is played amongst the defenders inside the arc and Fisher has definitely risen up to the challenge against the best in the state.
No. 5: Charlotte Tuhy Charlotte Tuhy 6'0" | SF Madison | 2025 State NJ – SF, Madison
Tuhy can just about do it all as a forward for Madison and she put her skillset on full display her entire freshman year. She finished with near double-double numbers, averaging 13.6 & 8.2, along with just over a block a game, 2.3 steals a game and 1.5 made three-pointers a game. The numbers back up the level of dominance she displayed on the floor this season. She’s big enough as a forward to play a big role on defense as a shot-blocker and interior defender. Tuhy is also agile and nimble enough to knock shots down and drive the lane on offense, making her a dual-threat and multi-dimensional player.
