This week, I focused on the teams who I had not seen yet on the circuit when assembling my all-tournament team. These are also players who I saw at The Fieldhouse.
Amilian Fields, Central Kentucky Storm 2023
This young lady is only a freshman playing up on the 2023 team, and she showed a lot of skills as a special player. She can do a lot of good things with the ball that is above her years. One of the top point guards in Kentucky, she is an outstanding passer and makes good decisions with the ball. She is very athletic and creates with the ball.
Aubri Spicer Aubri Spicer 5'8" | CG New Lexington | 2023 State OH , Buckeye State Blast PHX 2023
An athletic player that shows some great defense as her strongest attribute. Can get after the ball and make things happen for her team. Offensively I would like to see her be more assertive with the ball, but she can score and capable of making the big plays for her team. I liked her leadership qualities, she makes things happen for her team.
Keira Rogers Keira Rogers 5'5" | SG Lebanon | 2023 OH , Cincy Chargers 2023
She drew the attention of a lot of people.I talked to over the weekend, coaches, fans and other players. She displayed some very good leadership skills and her game has elevated to a higher level. I love to watch her in the transition game, she sees the floor well and distributes. Good handles, and explosive to the rim.
Amaya Burch Amaya Burch 5'7" | SG Timber Creek | 2022 State NJ , BBA 2023
One of the best all around players I saw this weekend. Very sound guard, strong physical kid, She can play through contact and score at the rim. Also a perimeter threat, and I love the way she looked for her teammates. She is a player who is a big difference maker in the game and leader on the court.
Rilynn Jones, Team 419 2015
One of the better young players I saw, and her future looks bright. Rilynn is a scrappy point guard who not only has a good perimeter game, she also has deep range and is able to connect from behind the arc. She possesses very good court sense and her on-ball defense is solid. Very good defensive footwork and active hands with her quickness
