Aniyah Fisher Aniyah Fisher 5'9" | SF St. Augustine HS | 2024 State FL (ECU Clarke 2024/ PGH #28) walked out with the championship trophy for her play at Ballin In the Bay. Fisher has a knack for game-winning shots and she pulled off the feat for the third time this year. But Fisher is more than a last-second highlight reel. Prep Girl Hoops number 28th ranked Sophomore has played at that ranking or above all spring. Fisher shoots threes, she takes it to the rack, she can score in the midrange and is deadly in transition and in the open court. At Ballin’ In the Bay, Fisher’s whole skillset was on display. Defensively she made plays this past weekend that you don’t see, like intercepting passes out of the air from three feet away and ripping elite ball handlers like it was routine. A lot of good players are very good on one side of the ball. Fisher is very good in every facet of the game. She is a unique player with a versatile skillset. Make more room on the trophy case. There are many more to come.
Kennedy Hill Kennedy Hill 5'9" | SF Andrew Jackson | 2024 State FL (ECU Clarke/ PGH#181) is known as the real deal in track and that she is. The speedster just recently finished track season and placed in the Florida state finals for the second consecutive year. Those at Ballin in the Bay saw it firsthand. She took a rebound and outran everyone for the basket. That Coast to coast play was a glimpse of Hill’s athletic and basketball abilities. Hill got to the basket with regularity all tournament long and made some spectacular plays. Hill can score in a flurry. Hill’s ranking is nothing more than a lack of exposure. She has elite skills, and some were on display at Ballin in the Bay. You’ll see the rest during July’s Live Period and Hill’s Junior basketball campaign at Andrew Jackson High School.
Zaree Nichols Zaree Nichols 5'8" | PF River Ridge | 2024 State FL did a nice job of “Ballin” in the Bay. She balled on the inside and with her versatility, she showcased her ballin’ abilities on the outside as well. Nichols was really impressive in the transition game, she had the speed to outrun guards, the handles to take the ball full court on the dribble, and the power to finish contested layups over guards and forwards. As a Power Forward who can shoot on the outside, Nichols has the skillset of a Stretch 4 and she can give defenses fits. As a Sophomore, Nichols averaged 6.9 points per game and knocked down an impressive 18 threes at a 47 percent rate. Nichols showed that she could shoot at various levels on the court. Defensively, she was a force in the paint and even got after it when defending guards. She is a player to follow in her Junior campaign.
Charlotte Peverley Charlotte Peverley 6'0" | PF Pontre Vedra | 2024 State FL (2024 ). Peverly attacked the basket as if it was personal over the weekend. The 6’0″ forward made some great offensive plays inside the paint and outside the paint. Peverly is another matchup nightmare because of her ability to play on the inside and the outside. She is another stretch 4 player who can stretch out the defense with her shooting range. At Ballin in the Bay, Peverly knocked a few threes in from “out by the bay.” Defensively, Peverley took it up a notch and came close to fouling out with aggressive and good defensive plays.
