[program_tooltip program_id='716239' first='Lady' last='Vision'] Basketball has made its presence known in the Kentucky AAU circuits this year. They started as Vision Elite Athletics in 2014. They then rebranded to [program_tooltip program_id='716239' first='Lady' last='Vision'] in 2016. After a few years away from competition, they have resurfaced with a 17U roster full of talented players led by Coach Cameron Jackson. [program_tooltip program_id='716239' first='Lady' last='Vision'] is steadily becoming an elite program if you are a young lady who is hungry, humble, and wants to compete at a high-level [program_tooltip program_id='716239' first='Lady' last='Vision'] is where you want to be.
#10-[player_tooltip player_id="393701" first="Kenady" last="Ward"]-6'5-Jackson County [player_tooltip player_id="393701" first="Kenady" last="Ward"] is the anchor for [program_tooltip program_id='716239' first='Lady' last='Vision'] she's a force in the paint. Ward uses her size well down low she can score at will once she gets deep position in the post. She has good hands for the entry pass and has timely awareness to kick it back out to open teammates when the double comes. Ward is truly dominant in the interior on both ends of the floor. #9-Mercy Sutton-5'11-Hopkins Central Mercy Sutton can flat out ball she competes hard on offense and defense. She plays primarily in the post where she displays excellent footwork and post moves that helps her finish inside. Sutton is a solid defender she blocks a ton shots and is disciplined enough to not get in foul trouble. She can shoot from midrange, three and is a very skilled ball handler for a forward. #1-Trinity Gay-5'8-GRC Trinity Gay can really play she is a lethal scorer who can put the ball in the basket in a variety of ways. She has a killer crossover move that will break a defenders ankles. Trinity has a knack for getting to rim, her driving ability is excellent she's a slasher type player but she can hit open jump shots as well. #7-[player_tooltip player_id="403471" first="Addison" last="Soutar"]-6'1-North Bullitt If you take the "ou" out of Soutar you get "Star" and that's the type of potential Addison has. She's a monster on defense, the way she anticipates the timing of a shot or layup is something special to see. With that kind of defensive awareness along with her incredible wingspan it's hard to get a shot over her without it being blocked or contested. Soutar is a finesse big with great fundamentals, she can be utilized well in pick and pop plays with her ability to step out and shoot from the perimeter or finish inside. #2-Gracie Jent-5'7-Trimble County If you read my Top Sleeper Prospects Class of 2023 article then you are already familiar with Gracie Jent. She's a player that knows how to let the game come to her, she makes good decisions with the ball and knows when to impose her will. Gracie has a smooth shooting stroke and she makes most of the shots she attempts. She's a hard nosed defender that comes up with steals and causes turnovers. #3-Graci Risely-5'9-Henderson County Graci Risely is a dead eye shooter from three with an extremely quick release. She moves well without the ball coming off screens and pulling up without hesitation. Even with a hand in her face she can still make it there is no such thing as a difficult shot to her. Risely is a solid defender as well and she gives maximum effort on offense and defense. #5-[player_tooltip player_id="393706" first="Diamond" last="Gray"]-5'6-Paducah Tilghman [player_tooltip player_id="393706" first="Diamond" last="Gray"] is an ultimate competitor she plays with passion and leaves it all on the court. She is a knocked down spot up shooter with good range. Diamond is a high character player who is always there to pat her teammate on that back. She's very coachable and keeps a good attitude on the court which is vital for a players success. Gray is money from the free throw line as well. #6-Kayllyn Vannoy-5'7-Johnson Central Vannoy is a solid player with great upside. She's a good facilitator who enjoys getting her teammates involved. She works hard to create opportunities for herself and others. Kayllyn can score at a high level and she finishes strong at the rim even with contact. #4-[player_tooltip player_id="447308" first="Jayleigh" last="Steenbergen"]-5'10-Allen County-Scottsville Jayleigh has a nice all around game. She has good length and size that she uses well in the interior on the offensive and defensive end. Steenbergen plays hard every possession she can score in the post and can step out and shoot mid range jumpers. She's very active on defense she's good at denying the entry pass to the post. #8-Destiny Utterback-5'7-Rowan County Destiny Utterback is a solid all-around player, she's deceptively quick and knows how to push the ball on fast breaks to get points in transition. Destiny is a good shooter from the perimeter, she plays hard on defense and can rebound very well for a guard.
