Beyond Amazing Team Camp: 2024-2025 Top Performers

Camp season is in full effect down here on the Grand Strand area in Myrtle Beach this week. Teams have gathered around from the southeast to play at Sylvia Hatchell’s Beyond Amazing Team Camp at the John Rhodes Sports Center. Reese Pratt plays 3 sports including volleyball and softball when she’s not hooping. Anna has a soft set of hands and good presence inside the paint. She works both sides of the block and can hit a soft jump hook from time to time. Cameron a left-handed slashing guard really likes the ball in her hands. Jaida is quick and fast in the open court and always looks to be in attack mode. She is really geared to score the ball. Will Cameron be the leader that the Lady Tigers need this season to be successful for Head Coach Jessica Gerald? <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="175340" first="Breanna" last="McCall"] - St James HS (Murrells Inlet) (pictured on front)</strong> McCall is a water-bug point guard for the Lady Sharks. Janiya is MOST effective playing around the basket and just picking up putbacks and rebounds. She can step-out to the perimeter but at times she loses some of her effectiveness playing away from the basket. Azzy is a combo guard more of a 2/1 in mind. Hammons can really knockdown shots on the perimeter and plays the game extremely unselfish. Azzy creates plays for her teammates with her crafty passing skills and she really plays the game with a good basketball feel. Hammons averaged 20.9 ppg, 2.3 assists and 3.8 steals this past season. Logan is a left-handed versatile forward that plays the game with a bit of a mean streak and aggressiveness for her age. She can handle the rock, go inside and rebound or lead the break down the floor. Logan is just getting started for the Lady Tigers. Oh yeah, she’s a young kid and a member of the 2027 class.
