Charleston Southern Team Camp: 2023 Top Performers

The 2023 Palmetto State showed up to play here this weekend at the Charleston Southern Team Camp. Who are some of these ladies that college programs should start to monitor for next year moving forward? It's time to #RecruitThePalmettoState <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="299566" first="Yasmine" last="Cook"] - Stratford HS (Goose Creek) (pictured on front)</strong> Cook was great all weekend long with her MOTOR at a high rate of speed for the Knights. Yasmine finished plays at all 3 levels on the floor. She really does a great job of always being around the ball to make a play. Cook really rebounds the ball well from her position and at times led the break going down the floor in transition. Yasmine finished several times on the break with her left-hand at the rim. Taylor will carve out space and work for position down low in the paint. She will mix it up and draw contact when needed. Taylor does a good job of keeping the ball up high and rebounding the ball on both ends around the paint. Nettles can get her own shot when needed or look to setup one of her teammates for an open look. Alaina came up big time after time today with a big rebound, steal, pass or shot. Kimanni finished a few putbacks while hitting the offensive glass. Lyde has no problems jumping on the floor, getting in a pile, diving into the bleachers and playing with some floor burns. Talasha can stretch the defense with her ability to make shots on the perimeter for the Lady Warriors. Walker shoots the ball at a good percentage clip and really takes quality shots while on the floor. Talasha is a confident shooter with quick release. <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="241664" first="Jadein" last="Haynes"] - Stall HS (North Charleston) </strong> Jadein has a good skill set on the floor and can play multiple positions for the Lady Warriors. She can handle the rock, rebound on both ends of the floor, pick up steals in the passing lanes and oh yeah make some shots from 15 feet in. Jadein has the ability to take over a game at times when needed for the Lady Warriors. Haynes plays on the Grassroots Circuit with Lowcountry Premier. <img class="alignnone size-medium wp-image-451583" src="https://prephoops-uploads.s3.amazonaws.com/pgh/uploads/2022/06/E9D4DA06-2050-4798-B914-B21FD4BB491B.jpeg" alt="" width="300" height="225" /> <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="357545" first="Quinn" last="Wilson"] - Beaufort HS </strong> Wilson plays with a ton of passion and heart for her squad. Quinn has a no quit attitude and a competitive edge to go with it. Wilson was face-guarded all day long in a game and still at times came up with some big plays. Ryian brings blue collar mentality to the floor and some ruggedness. She sure has no problems playing the game on contact and getting physical down low. <img class="alignnone size-medium wp-image-452990" src="https://prephoops-uploads.s3.amazonaws.com/pgh/uploads/2022/06/BBF784FC-7390-4C02-8D58-7090C8B2A1FC.jpeg" alt="" width="300" height="225" /> <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="453061" first="Jarnyria" last="Maddox"] - Lee County HS (Leesburg, GA)</strong> Maddox plays the game with some swag while on the floor for the Lady Trojans. Jarnyria really has a nice mid-range game to go with her ability to make plays on the floor. She was able to show good body control finishing at the basket today for the Lady Trojans. Maddox averaged 13 ppg and 10 rebounds last season. She plays on the Grassroots Circuit with FBC Blaze.
