Erica McBrayer, 5’10 Forward (Tocoi Creek 2023 ). Was really impressed at the tenacity that McBrayer plays with. She has very good size and is a strong player. McBrayer is a competitor out there and doesn’t back down from anyone. She has good footwork in the paint and showed some nice moves in the paint, including a baby hook and floater. She runs the floor well and can handle the ball well for a power forward. McBrayer has some versatility to her game with the ability to shoot from behind the three-point line. She does a good job of crashing the boards and is not afraid to mix it up down low. McBrayer fits the description of a stretch four because of her shooting range. She has the potential to draw the bigs out of the middle, and open up the paint for her speedy point guard and teammates who do a good job of cutting to the goal without the ball.
Kali Harris 5’9 SF (Menendez 2024) was one of the best athletes on the court. She is long, athletic, and can run like the wind. She also threw in some nice basketball plays in there while she continuously lapped the field on the court. She is a pest out there on the defensive end. She has the speed to stay in front of guards and forwards and can defend multiple positions due to her size and blazing speed. Her length causes problems. She had some impressive on-ball steals and intercepted and deflected multiple passes on defense. Harris made some nice shots in transition and showed some nice footwork in the paint.
Elizabeth Sandsbury F/C (Ponte Vedra 2023) was really impressive on the court. On a heavy guard-oriented team, Sandsbury gives the Ponte Vedra Sharks some grit down in the paint. She played with a lot of energy and effort and really showcased her versatility as a player. She has a nice shot from the outside and likes to mix it up on the inside. Sandsbury crashes the board hard. In her Sophomore season, half of her rebounds were on the offensive end. That’s the effort she’s played with in the summer league games. Sandsbury does a good job of anchoring the middle of the Shark’s motion offense and she gives the Sharks an inside presence. She can attack the basket and has some good footwork, and she can pass the ball from the post. She is going to rack up assists next season, passing the ball to all of those three-point shooters on Ponte Vedra.
Devon McNally F (Tocoi Creek 2024). McNally was impressive during the game against Ponte Vedra. She gets to loose balls in a hurry and knows how to put the ball in the basket. Was really impressed at her cuts to the basket without the ball. She cuts well to the goal and creates a good target to catch passes and knows how to finish after the catch. She plays with high energy on both sides of the floor. McNally also did a good job of competing and getting after it on the boards.

(Creekside 2023) Kastor is a walking double-double and every time she is on the court. She brings relentless effort to the floor in every contest and the opponent knows from the tip-off that it’s going to be a battle on the inside. Kastor was a force in the middle and grabbed rebound after rebound during the summer league contest against Ponte Vedra. Kastor was also scoring in the paint on putbacks and on dribble penetrations to the basket. Kastor also had the midrange working as well. Kastor and company gained a lot of respect last year, and Kastor is looking to make her team a player in the basketball landscape on the First Coast. Creekside has some good pieces and Kastor might be the most important part of the puzzle. She is a competitor and definitely a player to watch next year in her senior year.
