[player_tooltip player_id="279704" first="Jiyani" last="Thompson"] (Raytown South): A 5’5" point guard with excellent speed and quickness with the ability to impact the game at both ends of the court. She has the ability to slice into the lane for layups while also being able to knock down 3-pointers from long distance. She likes to play the game at a fast tempo and that also holds true on the defensive end as well.

[player_tooltip player_id="279705" first="Amrri" last="Thompson"] (Raytown South): The other half of the Cardinals dynamic twin set of guards, Amrri can also generate tempo with her speed and quickness at both ends of the court. She can apply defensive pressure to opposing ball handlers for the full court. She is excellent in the open court with her ability to finish in transition. She also has good penetrating ability and 3-point shooting range.

[player_tooltip player_id="107020" first="Myra" last="Claas"] (Tipton): The 5’7 point guard was one of the top backcourt players at the event. She was a problem for opposing defenses because she can stretch the floor with her excellent 3-point shooting while also being able the drive the ball and finish as effectively. Her playmaking skills as a passer are also very good.

[player_tooltip player_id="170615" first="Mikah" last="Edwards"] (Helias): A 5’7" point guard who plays the position at a high level in all facets of the game. She is a good facilitator with her ability to handle and distribute the basketball. She gets the ball to her teammates where they can operate. She is capable of getting a bucket as well as she can stop and pop from the mid range and hit the 3-pointer.

Camie Grayson (Russellville): A 5’7" guard who was quietly one of the most impressive offensive players that I watched during the event. She did an excellent job of playing without the ball as she was constantly moving and cutting and she knew how to get herself open for scoring opportunities. She was also very good with the ball in her hands as she displayed three-level scoring ability. Her 3-point shooting was very good and she could create off the dribble.

Natalie Allison (Capital City): A talented 5’8" guard who has shooting range that extends well beyond the 3-point line. If she got a good look from long distance, she left it fly with full confidence and she hit them at a good rate during the day. She is also willing to drive it to the basket and she uses her body well to draw the contact when she gets into the lane.
