SCBCA Summer Showcase: 2026 Top Performers

Prep Girls Hoops took in the action on Monday from the North Charleton Athletic Center to cover the SCBCA Summer Showcase. Teams from around the state gathered for the 2-day event. Skylar really felt comfortable here today knocking down several three pointers. She shot the ball with good consistency and production today. McCray plays on the Grassroots Circuit with the Palmetto 76ers 2025. <img class="alignnone size-medium wp-image-453008" src="https://prephoops-uploads.s3.amazonaws.com/pgh/uploads/2022/06/6EA9F8DF-CA8E-401F-B8FF-CA7C434FDBDD.jpeg" alt="" width="300" height="225" /> <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="452369" first="Chloe" last="Hudson"] - Rock Hill HS </strong> Hudson will be counted on a lot this season and thrown into the mix early for the Lady Bearcats. Chloe does her best work playing off the ball and making shots on the perimeter. She does a good job of being shot ready to receive the ball in the pocket. <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="368611" first="China" last="Greene"] - Timberland HS (St Stephen) (pictured on front)</strong> China is a small guard with a big game at times. Greene really came to play in the opener vs Clover HS. China plays the game with a fearless mindset and a confidence to make shots. She wants and is looking to score the ball in transition or knocking down shots from the perimeter. Greene likes to play off the ball for the most part while in the backcourt. Greene is one of several young players on this Wolves roster for Head Coach Allen Gethers Jr. <img class="alignnone size-medium wp-image-453005" src="https://prephoops-uploads.s3.amazonaws.com/pgh/uploads/2022/06/163450B2-9917-48B3-8C9C-BCCE249B3262.jpeg" alt="" width="300" height="225" /> <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="451803" first="Ava" last="Rush"] - Oceanside Collegiate (Mount Pleasant) </strong> Rush continued her strong play over from the Charleston Southern Team Camp here today with the Lady Landsharks. Ava runs the floor very well and always remains active with her play. She continues to rebound the ball on both ends of the floor while getting to the foul line at a good clip. Ava already has good height for her age but still could continue to grow down the road. Ava can step-out and look to hit the short corner jumper from time to time. <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="452370" first="Sullivan" last="Leonard"] - Bishop England </strong> Leonard will be counted on a lot this season to play in the post for the Lady Bishops. Sullivan moves around the floor very well and just needs to continue to get solid playing time. She was able to finish running the lane in transition while playing active around the paint area. She should see some good minutes this season for the Lady Bishops with 10 seniors moving on from last season’s team for Head Coach Paul Runey. &nbsp; &nbsp;
