[player_tooltip player_id="443683" first="Allison" last="Muckey"] - 5’10 F 2023 - Andes Central/Dakota Christian - Allison is a prospect that was missed in the rankings, but she’s a really a good, tough-minded player. Allison goes hard at the hoop and plays with an aggressive style of play. She can score the ball with a jumper and is very strong inside. She absolutely battles in the paint and plays with strength. On the defensive side, she’s very aggressive with the ball-handler and plays tight coverage. I don’t have a ranking on her yet until for next update, but she’ll be a strong addition to the 2023 class rankings.
[player_tooltip player_id="443684" first="Josie" last="Brouwer"] - 5’7 G 2025 - Andes Central/Dakota Christian - Josie is an up-and-coming guard in the state that started as a Freshman already. Has all the necessary skills to be an impact player. Has a smooth release on her jumper and three-ball. Accurate and aggressive from deep. I really liked her shot selection from three, and she never really forced too much. Moves well without the ball and often finds a spot on the court where she can be open for a shot. Great lateral slide on defense, and is able to stay in front of her matchup.
[player_tooltip player_id="443690" first="Halle" last="Olson"] - 6’0 C 2026 - Andes Central/Dakota Christian - Halle is a legitimate prospect in the state, who has varsity experience as an eighth-grader already. She should takeover for Vander Pol as the starting interior player. Halle has a long frame and is a smooth finisher around the hoop. Look for Halle to be on the 2026 watchlist.
[player_tooltip player_id="375704" first="Addison" last="Neuendorf"] - 5’4 PG 2026 - Hamlin - Addison was the starting point guard for Hamlin in just her eighth-grade season. A true prototypical point guard style and play. She can handle and pass the ball at an elite level already, with a jumper to top things off. She’ll have a lot of confidence going into the season, with state tournament experience already. With Wadsworth as the go-to scorer in her final season, Addison may be one more year from a massive breakout, but look for Neuendorf to continue to improve this season.
[player_tooltip player_id="375711" first="Brooklyn" last="Brandriet"] - 5’4 G 2023 - Hamlin - I hadn’t seen Hamlin until later in the season but Brooklyn stands out as an X-factor guard for Hamlin in them winning a state championship next season. She can handle and pass it, and has a good stroke from three. She’s with the Dakota Niners this off-season, looking to hone her game and skills. She might not have eye-popping numbers next season, but her ability to get hot from three will be crucial for her team.
