With the ever important second of half of July approaching quickly, rising seniors will be embarking on their final road trips with their club teams. Some have secured scholarship offers and are looking to add to their collections, while others are looking to snag that elusive first offer. Below is a list of prospects college coaches should be checking for in the second half of July.

[player_tooltip player_id="163910" first="Kameryn" last="Dorsey"], 2023 Point Guard, Team Thrill

Kam has grown as a lead guard and facilitator over the past year. She is a true pass first guard who can control a game without putting up a lot of shots. She is a fierce competitor and sets the tone defensively for her team.

[player_tooltip player_id="163854" first="Amani" last="Watts"], 2023 Post, Team Thrill Banks

Amani is a rebounding machine, especially on the offensive glass. Her work on the boards and in the paint generate a ton of free throw attempts. She is a good finisher around the rim and sets good screens.

Imani Clark- Sanders, 2023 Power Forward, CTAB Elite

Imani is a rugged rebounder and plays with a lot of energy. She has good footwork in the paint and a nice hook shot. At 5’9" she’s a bit undersized for what she does, but still pulls it off. She is very physical on defense and seeks contact when she has the ball.

[player_tooltip player_id="291153" first="Kimmya" last="Hicks"], 2023 Guard, Maryland Shooting Stars

Kimmya is a scoring guard with good size and length at 5’9". Her shot is good out to the 3-point line and she will attack the offensive glass for more scoring opportunities. She has a strong handle with some crossover moves and handles ball pressure well so she can seamlessly move to the point guard position when necessary.

[player_tooltip player_id="293244" first="Lourden" last="Banks"], 2023, Guard, Elevate Elite

Lourden has excellent length and size for a guard. She’s a very good defender and has the tools to take that to the next level and become a real lockdown threat. Defenders have trouble keeping her in front of them because she’s fast and has quick first step. She scores in the paint and her three-point shot looks good as well. She’s an exceptional athlete and plays with some swagger.

Jayda Mayles, 2023 Wing, Cutt Nation

Jayda had a strong high school season for Pikesville, playing a key role during their 1A championship run. Jayda is a knock down three-point shooter and a good defender. She attacks the offensive glass relentlessly, coming up with multiple additional scoring opportunities for her team and drawing fouls. She does not shy away from contact and does a lot of little things that do not show up on the stat sheet.
