Here are 5 seniors you should be watching in Milwaukee for the 2022-23 season.
[player_tooltip player_id="156076" first="Braelyn" last="Torres"] - 5’6 G - Kettle Moraine
After playing on a stacked and championship winning Kettle Moraine team last season, [player_tooltip player_id="156076" first="Braelyn" last="Torres"] looks to keep their winning ways going. She is coming off of a season in which she averaged 14/4/4, led the conference in assists, and was first team all-conference and state. She was also no slouch on defense, averaging 3.4 steals per game and also half a block. Scoring is where she really thrives. Last season she shot 42% from the floor and an impressive 35% from three. With her elite scoring ability and wiliness to share the ball, Braelyn looks posed to be one of the best players in the Milwaukee area this upcoming season.
Nayomi Ross-Morrow - 5’11 G - Milwaukee South
Nayomi Ross-Morrow was a bright spot on a team that had an otherwise forgettable season. She was first team all conference, first team all defense, and also led the conference in scoring with 15.2 points per game. She had a season high of 25 and also made 32 threes over the course of the season. At 5’11 she has great height and length which makes her a great asset on both ends of the floor. Nayomi is trending towards a great senior campaign and looks to not only elevate her own play but her teams as well.
[player_tooltip player_id="156084" first="Kierra" last="Bond"] - 5’7 C - Milwaukee Riverside
[player_tooltip player_id="156084" first="Kierra" last="Bond"] is an absolute animal in the paint. She averaged a double double last season with 13.6 points and 10.2 rebounds per game and added an assist and a half on top of that. She was first team all-conference and second in the conference in rebounds. She heads into her senior season with high hopes of adding to her totals but also to her teams wins. Kierra was one of 4 all-conference players from Milwaukee Riverside but with the other three graduating, she’ll have to take up a much bigger role this season.

[player_tooltip player_id="156077" first="Annika" last="Pluemer"] - 5’9 CG - Brookfield East
Sharing a conference with the best player in the state is never easy but [player_tooltip player_id="156077" first="Annika" last="Pluemer"] has not shied away from the challenge. She was first team all-conference and state this past season. She averaged 16/5/2 and 2 steals per game as well. She also shot 38% from three and 82% from the line. Her 16.6 points per game were her to rank her fourth in the conference. Annika plays in a conference that is stacked with talent and yet has not only played well but well enough to be one of the best players in the Milwaukee area. She looks to to only get
better next season and make a case to be conference player of the year.
[player_tooltip player_id="156072" first="Allison" last="Hampel"] - 5’10 PF - Greenfield
[player_tooltip player_id="156072" first="Allison" last="Hampel"] is looking to make a name for herself in the Milwaukee area and is well on her way to doing so. She is coming off a season in which she averaged 17/11/4 and made her field goals at a rate of 55%. She is also a force of defense where she averaged 3 steals per game and also over 1.5 blocks. She was first team all-conference and is looking for more accolades heading into her senior season. If she can improve on her already stellar numbers, Allison may make her case of being one of the best players in the Milwaukee area.
