This final "live" weekend of the 2022 grassroots season, All-Iowa Attack is hosting their annual Summer Finale. With a number of EYBL, 3SSB, BlueStar, and other top programs, it has made for an outstanding event well-attended by college coaches from across the country. A few Indiana teams made the trek to The Hawkeye State, and most showed well on Day-1. Below is a quick look at a few ladies who stood out for one reason or another when I was able to see them.

[player_tooltip player_id='96080' first='Isabella' last='Gizzi'], 2023, 5-7 PG, New Palestine H.S., [program_tooltip program_id='712574' first='Indy' last='Magic']-Scott 17U
- Isabella was very efficient and effective in her team's evening win over a very good EYBL program with a number of D1 prospects. She took care of the basketball, found open teammates, and she picked her spots to find points. She was also very active and feisty on the ball defensively, as she went toe-to-toe with a couple of talented guards.

[player_tooltip player_id='406158' first='Hannah' last='Hodgen'], 2023, 5-9 W, Twin Lakes H.S., [program_tooltip program_id='712570' first='Indiana's' last='Best'] Red 17U
- Hannah has done a nice job of using this grassroots season to improve her feel for the game by adjusting to the speed and size. She is a nice athlete herself, with length, a wiry-strong frame, and a good motor. She is versatile offensively, can play in the mid-post or around the perimeter, plus she has defended multiple positions as well.

[player_tooltip player_id='127210' first='Hannah' last='Lach'], 2023, 5-10 W, Carmel H.S., [program_tooltip program_id='712574' first='Indy' last='Magic']-Scott 17U
- Hannah had one of her best games Saturday evening, burying multiple jumpers, getting to the basket, and helping her team knock off a tough opponent in front of several recruiting coaches. She was strong, aggressive, and attacking without hesitation. She also did a really nice job of rebounding and defending at the other end of the floor.

[player_tooltip player_id='177332' first='Sophia' last='Johnson'], 2024, 6-0 W, Evansville Memorial H.S., [program_tooltip program_id='715504' first='Pocket' last='City Basketball'] 16U
- Sophie had one of her offensive outbursts in her team's second game of the day, at one point scoring 11 straight points in the second half, helping her team separate for the win. She knocked down four 3-pointers in total, 19 points overall, and she was active on the boards, plus she blocked/affected a number of opponents' shots.

[player_tooltip player_id='324065' first='Mallory' last='Bourquein'], 2025, 5-9 G, Carmel H.S., [program_tooltip program_id='712566' first='Indiana' last='Elite'] Green 15U
- Mallory had several nice moments against high-level competition all day Saturday. She is a nice-looking athlete, with a wiry-strong frame, good length, and she plays with a solid motor. She doesn't really have a position, as she can handle the ball and manage a team, or she can score it in a variety of ways. She's also a versatile defender.

[player_tooltip player_id='295772' first='Ava' last='Shafer'], 2025, 5-8 G, Mooresville H.S., [program_tooltip program_id='712566' first='Indiana' last='Elite'] Orange 15U
- I have seen Ava a few times, but I felt like this was the most she has stood out. She was energetic, vocal, and constantly involved in what seemed like every play. She's a very nice athlete, she has a versatile offensive skillset, and she can defend multiple positions. I really like her balance and versatility, and she has a nice toughness to her.

[player_tooltip player_id='295812' first='Isabelle' last='Shepherd'], 2025, 5-5 PG, Carmel H.S., [program_tooltip program_id='712566' first='Indiana' last='Elite'] Orange 15U
- Izzy was extremely active and all over the place, whether it was causing havoc defensively, getting out in transition and finishing easy layups, or scooping up loose balls and rebounds, finding teammates on the run. She does a really nice job of using her quickness and changing speeds, plus she has a nice feistiness/toughness to her game.

[player_tooltip player_id='486559' first='Maryrose' last='Felling'], 2026, 5-7 G, Triton Central H.S., [program_tooltip program_id='712570' first='Indiana's' last='Best'] Court Queens 14U
- Maryrose brings a needed strength and toughness factor to her team, as she often comes up with big rebounds, physical stops defensively, and she earns trips to the free throw line. And those aren't even her best qualities...she has already proven to be one of the state's best shooters in this up-and-coming Freshmen class of 2026.

[player_tooltip player_id='486509' first='Maya' last='Layton'], 2026, 5-7 PG, Faith Christian School, [program_tooltip program_id='712570' first='Indiana's' last='Best'] Court Queens 14U
- Maya was a main catalyst in the Court Queens' opening game win Saturday morning. She is extremely long, quick/fast, fluid, and smooth. She used her length and quickness to cause problems in their full-court defense, and she immediately turned that into attacking offense, getting to the rim and/or finding open teammates for easy scores.
