The Eau Claire native possesses one of the quickest first steps in Wisconsin. She reads the defense well and understands how to attack the space ball screens can open up. I thought she played very well and showed why she’s a scholarship-level talent in the 2023 class.
Kenzie Deaton
Deaton played extremely hard the entire event. Her motor runs high every second she’s on the floor. She also showed off her offensive skillset at Hopkins. Deaton attacked the basket on a few occasions and made some outside jumpers. She’ll always make plays on the ball defensively and create havoc when defending the point of attack. I thought she showed that she’s a two-way prospect at the next level.
Jorey Buwalda Jorey Buwalda 6'0" | PF Randolph | 2023 State WI
I don’t think I’ve ever seen anyone physically match what Buwalda can bring to the floor. I love how efficiently she creates space with her strength and finishes through contact. I’ve also loved how well she’s shot the ball since seeing her this last month. Her jumper has good rotation and tends to be online with the rim. I get a higher opinion of her every time I watch her play a game.
Aubrey Galvan Aubrey Galvan 5'7" | PG Loyola Academy | 2025 State IL
There can’t be many players in the country who play with more flash than Aubrey Galvan Aubrey Galvan 5'7" | PG Loyola Academy | 2025 State IL . Not only does her game have style, but that flash has a practical use within the flow of a game. She doesn’t make many mistakes with the ball and hits her teammates with passes the second they find space. I think she looked the part playing against good competition and in front of high-major schools to close out Meltdown on Friday.
Divine Bouragge
I love how well Bourrage uses her athleticism to change the complexion of a game. She seems to grab every rebound anywhere near her area and jumps passing lanes that few others can. Watching her make play after play and leading her team to a win made me realize that she never needs to score to leave her fingerprints on a game. Understanding how much she does without having to score the ball is incredible. I believe she can help a ton of programs at the next level by making athletic plays that a select few people can make.
