Over the weekend, Nike TOC returned to McCormick and was joined by BlueStar to host a 3-day event full of top level basketball with teams from all over the country.

Below are my standouts over the weekend.

’24 [player_tooltip player_id="405511" first="Lexi" last="Sepulveda"] | 5’10 Guard | Midwest Elite
A scoring machine who has all the athleticism, speed, agility, and versatility to score on any type of defender. Lexi’s ability to collapse the defense at any moment is an offense booster. She can attack and kick, attack and finish and attack the gaps to force the entire defense to alter. On the defensive side.. her elite athleticism and strength allow her to guard multiple positions. She has the complete game. Scoring, defending, passing, and rebounding. Any program will benefit heavily with her skillset. High potential.
’23 [player_tooltip player_id="347000" first="Maddy" last="Fay"] | 6’2 Wing | Illinois Elite
Maddy’s low post-skill set is extensive. The footwork, patience, and overall strength on the low block is second to none. The lefty out of Fremd... from the mid to paint is a problem. Fay has the hands, rim awareness, and IQ on both sides to be a force for any program. On the defensive side, she can guard 3-5 and cause problems for 1-2.
’25 [player_tooltip player_id="335720" first="Nikki" last="Kerstein"] | 5’6 Guard | Illinois Elite
A legit three-level scoring playmaker that can fit and succeed within any offense. Kerstein’s IQ and feel of the game is beyond her years and her poise matched with her deep skillset is top tier. Nikki has the ball on the string, 2020 vision to facilitate, the motor and discipline to defend 94ft, and the creativity to develop space. She’s easily one of the top players in her class.
’23 [player_tooltip player_id="295261" first="Rachel" last="Kaus"] | 5’10 Stretch Post | Full Package 2023 Black
With tons of versatility and footwork, Kaus is a matchup problem. With a long list of moves and the motor to rebound at a high clip, Rachel can find success against any defender. Her high IQ and elite decision-making are a true separation from others at her position. She can attack the bucket and knock down the mid. Tremendous upside.
’24 [player_tooltip player_id="335733" first="Kylee" last="Norkus"] | 5’10 Guard | Midwest Elite
A pure athlete with a motor that seems to never run out. Norkus’s ability to score and defend without skipping a beat is something to watch. She can handle the ball, defend 1-3, and makes "extra possession" plays consistently. Kylee can shoot the long ball, attack the basket and knock down the midrange when needed.
’23 [player_tooltip player_id="205565" first="Annalise" last="Pietrzyk"] | 5’9 Guard | Illinois Elite
A sharpshooting guard who has the skillset to play multiple positions and still be effective. Annalise’s can score at all levels, defend 1-4 and cause issues for the 5. She plays a tough, big body style of game but can use finesse when needed. Her motor on the defensive end is a standout saught as well. She communicates well, sees the floor and can adjust on the fly. A plug and play type of player that can enhance a program immediately.
