Scoring dynamo went 7-14 FG, 4-9 3PT and 0 turnovers en route to 23 points, 3 rebounds, 7 assists, 1 steal and 1 block. When Henderson is engaged, she can be unstoppable with her deep three-point range and pinpoint floater. Crystal is also a very good passer that can dissect defenses.
Long and active, Nesbitt can be an impact maker on both sides of the ball. Courtney finds creases in the defense as a slasher and is a steady outside shooter that defenses must honor. Her ability to apply pressure defensively is a great asset to her game.
The Mercer-commit provided her trademark toughness in the low post. She’s a physical presence that rebounds in traffic and can score with her back to the basket using nimble footwork. Ari pushes the ball up the floor and has the quickness to take other bigs off the dribble.
I expect offers to file in for Anna Vereen after a steady week of work. She’s long and athletic. Anna blocks shots inside and can be a nuisance to deal with on the glass. Her defense is her calling card. Vereen is agile enough to help defend on the perimeter.
West Georgia is getting a tough-nosed combo-forward. Hiddema shoots the ball well from the perimeter and is a bruiser when attacking the rim and rebounding. She sank a pair of threes and scored on a spin-back post move part of her 15 points against Lady Attack.
