With the basketball calendar all but having come to a halt across the Palmetto State, it has given us at Prep Girls Hoops an opportunity to take a deeper dive into where the class of South Carolina ranks from area to area.

Over the next couple of months as we get closer and closer to tip-off of the 2022-23 basketball season, we will take a look at every county and area of South Carolina to see where its top stars stand in terms of where they play.

We will begin with the far western corner of the Upstate where we will put a spotlight on Abbeville, Oconee and Pickens Counties. Without further adieu, here is part 1 of our area rankings.
<!-- wp:acf/evaluation-block {"id":"block_62f50d3cbb746","name":"acf/evaluation-block","data":{"player_evaluations_0_player":["264983"],"_player_evaluations_0_player":"field_62ab9d62ecf2c","player_evaluations_0_override_profile_image":"","_player_evaluations_0_override_profile_image":"override-player-profile-image","player_evaluations_0_not_in_database":"","_player_evaluations_0_not_in_database":"field_62aba48cecf2d","player_evaluations_0_evaluation":"Similar to Bell, Hunter is another dual sport athlete whose other discipline is volleyball.
