The 2021-22 season was a memorable one for Hoover. She took part in 21 of the 24 matchups the Lions played in last season and posted averages of 13 points, 3.1 rebounds and 1.9 steals per game. Hoover is listed at 5-foot-4 and possesses talents that can certainly translate to the next level. She can drain her attempts from midrange and can deliver strong finishes at the rim with her left hand. Defensively, she is an asset as well with her ability to block shots in the perimeter. Hoover is a backcourt stalwart as someone who can play either as a one or a two and never takes a play off.

The Tigers will compete for its third season as a 3A school since moving down from the 4A ranks following the 2019-20 season. Hoover logged minutes in 21 of the team’s 24 matchups from last season and averaged 13 points, 3.1 rebounds and 1.9 steals per game. Hoover represents our first from the 3A ranks on our list – and our first rising senior. Following the graduation of two seniors from the 2021-22 season, one can expect Hoover to be even more of a focal point of the Lions’ rendition in 2022-23. Hoover is a backcourt stalwart for Daniel. She goes all in and all out every play she is part of. Mid-range jump shots are another key element to Hoover’s all-around game. Hoover at time will finish with her left and can play perimeter defense which includes the ability to block shots. She averaged 13 points in the 21 games she played for the Lions last season.
