Tysonia might be one of the most underrated players in the state. She doesn’t play on the Big Grassroots circuit. She is extremely efficient with her play whenever she touches the hardwood.
Tysonia averaged 21.3 ppg, 6.5 assists and 2.8 rebounds last season for the Lady Bulldogs. She can make shots from all 3 levels when she isn’t distributing the ball to one of her teammates.
Rivers is currently playing volleyball for the Lady Rams. Prep Girls Hoops didn’t see Raeleigh on the Grassroots Circuit this past season.
Rivers is the ultimate stat sheet stuffer at times with her play. She averaged 13.7 ppg, 6.9 rebounds and 4.4 steals last season for the Lady Rams.
Blackwell is a RAW talent down in the paint for the Lady Rams. Jada a post player averaged 6.5 ppg and 7.4 rebounds last season.
Diggs is another piece to the puzzle for the Lady Rams. Can the Lady Rams get over the hump of Andrew Jackson HS this coming season? Diggs and her teammates think they can.
Kierra a small forward can knockdown the mid-range jumper when given the chance. Diggs does a good job of rebounding the ball well from her position on both ends of the floor.
Worrell is back for the Lady Braves once again. She averaged 8.7 ppg and 3.8 rebounds last season for the Lady Braves (7-13).
Legette had a big freshman season for the Lady Vikings. Makayla can really get after it by getting her own shot at any time. She averaged 21.4 ppg and 5.3 rebounds this past season for the Lady Vikings (15-6).
Her assistant Ruby Lee Wright played at Georgetown University and was a pretty darn good player herself back in the day at Latta HS.
Mariah is small in height, but she sure doesn’t backdown from anyone on the floor. Campbell a point guard and the leader of the Lady Wildcats had some tough times last season.
Mariah really likes to drop some floaters from time to time after getting the ball into the lane. The Wildcats will rely on her heavily this season to provide any kind of offensive punch and leadership.
Highlights
McFadden shares the backcourt with Makayla Legette Makayla Legette 5’5″ | SG Trinity Collegiate | 2025 State SC . Kardae does a good job of rebounding the ball well from her position. She scores most of her points from around the cup.
Davis will be just a 7th grader this coming season. Will she see action on the Lady Wildcats roster? She can really fill it up with her attack the basket attitude. She will drop a three ball in a defender’s face when she isn’t going to the rack. Davis is instant offense at times with her ability to create opportunities on both sides of the floor.
Let’s not forget the Lake View Lady Wild Gators here. Tianna Hamilton Tianna Hamilton 5'10" | PF Lake View | 2023 State SC , Gwendasia Page Gwendasia Page 5'8" | SF Lake View | 2024 State SC and Jaleya Ford Jaleya Ford 5'4" | PG Lake View | 2024 State SC will provide leadership after finishing last season at (23-2). Ford averaged 15 ppg while Hamilton chimed in with 9.4 ppg.
