was making nice moves attacking the basket and scoring no matter whose hands were in her face. She was jumping in front of passing lanes grabbing steals and scoring on solo fast breaks. She had a nice finish at the rim making adjustments to get the bucket and didn’t back down from contact. She had a nice arc on her shot dropping it right in from beyond the perimeter.

graduating from Chesterfield, Diggs is certain to assume the primary leadership for the 2023-24 rendition of the 2A Rams. Her performance at CGHR March Madness is a sign that she is, indeed, ready for that role. Diggs brings plenty of stature and compliments that with her impressive length. Passes that may typically sail out of bounds are maintained possessions thanks to Diggs. She is a skilled attacker of the rim and that length can particularly display itself as a defender. Diggs tallied 10 points as Carolina Hoopers 2024 earned a hard-fought 54-53 victory over Reign Academy 2024 in overtime.

Diggs came up big in what was an anything-but-easy contest against host school 4A Catawba Ridge. Her speed and ball handling are two attributes to her game that will keep plenty of defenses on their heels. Diggs will have plenty of occasions where she will be in iso sets to organize her team’s halfcourt offense. She brings plenty of defensive energy and can put points on the board from virtually anywhere on the floor – including from midrange or from 3-point range. Versatility is another key to her game as she can play minutes either as a guard or as a forward. Diggs finished her evening with six points for the Rams.

Diggs is also a two-sport athlete who spends the spring months on the softball diamond once the hoops season has finished. Her first season with the Rams was her eighth grade season in 2019-20 and fans have had a front row seat to witness her development over the years. Diggs can play either of the forward positions as either a three or a four and has particularly shown prowess over the years as a rebounder. Defensively, she can make things uncomfortable for opposing ball carriers and the heads-up attitude she approaches the game with make her likely to up her steal totals.
