Passion Drive Camp was organized Patrick Paul and a host of coaches and trainers from around the Pee Dee. Let’s dive into some of the coverage right on your source for basketball news in the Palmetto State.
Lowe plays a bit off the grid over in Marlboro County near the North Carolina State border. Tysonia has a knack to score the ball from all 3 levels on the floor and along with the ability to create her own shot. She has had a quiet high school career with not a lot of exposure playing very limited Grassroots basketball to boot. She will make a college coach look very smart at the next level when they decide to take a chance on her next year.
Jaida played this summer with Wilson HS but now has surfaced at South Florence HS. Cameron played last year over at Trinity Collegiate. Jaida a left-handed guard really likes the ball in her hands to make plays. She will look to fill a void left by Albany Wilson on the Lady Bruins roster this season.
Johnson is a very heady guard who can connect on open shots while on the floor. Ariana rarely turns the ball over while handling it. Look for her to have a bigger role this season on the Lady Tigers roster.
Tatiana is back for the Lady Titans this coming season. Williamson should see more of role this year with several players moving on. Tatiana can slash to the cup or stop and pop for a nice mid-range jumper. She plays the game with a great deal of confidence for her age.
It’s hard to believe she will be just a 9th grader for the Lady Tigers. Teonna has game for her young age and she’s only going to keep getting better. She plays the game with no fear and really keeps the ball on a string at times to the cup. Teonna had no problems today with getting to the cup or creating her own shot when needed. You will hear her name plenty coming out of Williamsburg County in the years to come.
Murray played last season at Williams Middle School and looks to be at Wilson HS this year. Logan a left-handed forward brings good versatility to the floor. She can drive it to the basket, stop and pop or rebound the ball on both ends. She plays the game very aggressive for her age.
