[player_tooltip player_id='244936' first='Deanna' last='Heinze'] – Glenburn- (5'7/SG/2023) – Hard nose defender whose quick with her hands and feet. Deanna is a work horse who I predict will be looked to too lead this fairly young Glenburn team. Heinze isn't anything flashy, but as we've covered in the past old school basketball still has a way of winning in the modern game still. Heinze has a nice looking shoot with above average court awareness. She understands how to space the floor and doesn't do too much to clog the lane. I think this pick will be a dark horse this year and it'll be interesting how the off season proved to be for Deanna.

[player_tooltip player_id='245128' first='Olivia' last='Passa'] – Velva – (5'8/SG/2023) – Olivia is an athlete we've covered quite a bit in the past. I really like this pick, because I think she's a fairly undervalued guard who can defend 40 minutes a night... Yes I know high school games are only 32 minutes, but Olivia is a profound athlete with a high motor. Last season she averaged over 3 steals a contest half coming on the ball with pressure defense. She's a great read in gap side help and is quick enough to recover if burned off a back cut. If anyone deserves a glow up season it'll be Passa for sure.

[player_tooltip player_id='100448' first='Rylen' last='Burgess'] – Cavalier - (5'9/SG/2023) –A proficient scorer that can put the ball in the hoop in a plethora of ways. Rylen is a deadly 3 point shooter and it's a mistake not to contest on her. She spaces the floor and understands how to lift off drives to get open for her shot. More of a catch and release shooter, but I'm hopeful she's added an off the dribble shot to her game this off season.

[player_tooltip player_id='314664' first='Norah' last='Entzi'] – Edgeley/Kulm/Montpelier – (5'9/SG/2023) – Entzi had another season where she played her tail off. She was a big part of the EKM squad that had such a stellar season coming away with 2 loses and a near State appearance. Entzi scored the ball, defended and was one of the top free throw shooters on this Rebel squad. I have no question that she's WORKED this off season and this Rebel team is going to be one impressive beast to watch again this year.

Emily Jochim – South Border – (5'6/SG/2023) – Jochim is a player that came from nowhere. She had a fantastic season yet alone the Mustangs being fairly down this year. She returns on an aging Mustang squad that looks to Emily for guidance and leadership. Emily is a solid all around basketball player that excels offensively. If she get's going from beyond the 3 point line it's going to be a long night for your guards. I predict Jochim will average over 18 points this year shooting roughly around 33% from beyond the arc and 40% from the field.
