Makes contact on box outs while doing the little things to help her team tremendously. She also showed good footwork and rebounds well. Expect a big season ahead for the Vikings.
Makena Payne, 5-5 2024, Middletown Fenwick- Gritty player, hustles on both ends of the floor. Active hands and feet on defense. Confidence that continues to grow as the game goes on. Not afraid to shoot when she’s open. This young lady got after it and make an impact!
Ashlee Haupt, 5-5 2024, Brookville-Knows how to run the floor without the ball and knows how to push the floor with the ball. Active on offense- moves without the ball. She has a nice perimeter game, expected to be a good leader for the Blue Devils. With the graduation of post player Malerie Ross, expect Ashley to take that leadership role even higher.
Katie Maier Katie Maier 5'7" | PF Houston | 2024 OH , 5-6 2024, Houston- Good handles, attacks the rim hard. Explosive first step off the dribble to get by defenders. Makes the right pass consistently, Jim talked about her this summer at the Urbana Shootout, she did not disappoint at the Dayton Shootout.
Paityn Corthell, 5-8 2024, Monroe- Good footwork and a smooth jumpshot. Not afraid to get physical even when giving up size on defense. Will play through contact and can get to the line. Has a good basketball IQ and should be a good leader for Monroe this winter.
