Have you ever seen those point guards who aren’t flashy, but they always seem to get the job done. That is Katie as the senior is ready to close out her career with her best season yet. She is a threat at both ends of the court, she is silent but deadly with her outside game and can move well to the rim. Great handles and plays under control. She is unselfish to the point where I would like to see her get more shots up but she plays within theur offense. Can get her teammates involves. I feel she is very underrated…well, not by us!

Katie is a pure leader from the point guard spot, she does a lot well for her team including running the offense, she has great court vision and precise passing, and she can knock down a shot from anywhere. She has a very good basketball IQ which translates into an improved season for the Wildcats.

, who I have seen a few times since the summer. She has a strong point guard set with good court vision and can distribute to her teammates. She accelerates well to the rim and can force turnovers. Can push the tempo on the break and score.

This player caught my attention this summer at a high school team shootout, and to be honest I was even more impressed the second time I saw her this fall. Outstanding guard with a good basketball IQ, athletic and can create shots for her team or herself. Able to get to the rim with good body control. Can score from midrange out to behind the arc. Heady defender, can push tempo and with yet another year to get better, the ceiling is high for her.
