The High School division featured 80+ athletes from Oklahoma, Arkansas, Texas, and more. The gym was packed with so much talent, and the players listed below made an impact on the court and stood out to me in the class of 2026.
Avery Ragland | PG / 5-6 | Mustang HS | 2026
Avery is a crafty point guard with the ability to score in many different ways. She can handle the basketball and has a unique way of getting her defender off balance and scoring downhill with a floater or stretch the floor with a deep 3-pointer, and even hit the midrange jumper. She is a special player that approaches the game the right way. She will give good effort on both sides of the ball and is coachable. I look forward to watch her mix it up this upcoming season with Mustang High School.
Makensie Moore Makensie Moore 5'8" | CG Baptist Prep | 2026 State AR | G / 5-8 | Baptist Prep HS (AR) | 2026
Makensie is a guard that plays with confidence. She is never in a rush but always on time; when she is playing you can tell she knows what she is doing. She has a lot of skills but doesn’t force the issue and makes good decisions. She can hit the mid-range jumper as well as the 3-pointer, even contested. Defensively she works hard, pressures the ball, rotates correctly, and has good instincts. Her basketball IQ puts her in a class of her own and can’t wait to see more from her in the future.
Rihyana Kinsey | G / 5-10 | Midway HS (TX) | 2026
Rihyana is a big guard with handles that explodes by defenders in the triple threat effortlessly. Her motor gives her an advantage and it seems like she knows how to use it. She slashes in the lane and finishes in traffic. She can shoot it from the outside but is at her best attacking the basket. If her team needs a basket, she wants the ball in her hands. She uses her size and her first step to score easy. She could bang down low and explode off the dribble so most teams will have to pick their poison with her because; she can hurt you in so many ways. I like her game and look forward to hearing more about how she is doing in Texas in the coming years.
Marissa Sandlin Marissa Sandlin 5'9" | CG Tuttle | 2026 State OK | F / 5-8 | Tuttle HS | 2026
Marissa is a forward with good size and a lot of potential. I like the way she plays because she is aggressive but unselfish. She knows how to use her body in the paint, finishing around defenders or above them. She will get downhill to the basket but can also finesse over the top. She hustles and rebounds the ball and can push it in the open floor. She has a good-looking shot and can hit from behind the arc. I look forward to catching a few Tuttle High School games this upcoming season to hopefully catch her in the mix of a top contender in 4A.
Cydney Sanders Cydney Sanders 5'8" | PG Baptist Preparatory | 2026 State AR | G / 5-8 | Episcopal Collegiate School (AR) | 2026
Cydney is a long, athletic guard that can go! She is a smooth player that makes a difference on the court. Whether attacking straight line or countering and changing directions, she knows how to score the rock. I like her hesitation dribble; she keeps the defense guessing on what she will do. If the defense sags off, then she will shoot the 3-ball. And if they play too close, she explodes by them and hits the floater in the lane. She impressed me but what separates her from most players is her defensive intensity. She will pick the ball up full court and has the quick instincts to stay in front of the ball, and the length to take the vision away from the ball handler. Cydney gets the job done!
