Leandrea McCloud / 6’2 C – PF / Ed White
The First thing you notice about McCloud is the length. she is tall and imposing in the middle. She averaged right at 10 points per game and 10 rebounds per game in her Freshman season. McCloud can put the ball on the floor and take it to the basket and can shoot the short midrange shot. Defensively, she is a blocked shot waiting to happen. She averaged 3.3 blocks per contest last season.
Destiny Donaldson Destiny Donaldson 5'9" | SF Ribault | 2025 State FL / 5’9 SF / Ribault
As a Freshman, Donaldson (cover photo) was impressive, especially on the defensive end of the court. Since last season, she has put the work in and has made a noticeable improvement in her game. She was very impressive in summer ball, especially finishing on fast breaks, playing tenacious defense, and cleaning up on the glass. Donaldson is a very instinctive player who is lengthy and has a long wingspan. She constantly deflects passes and secures steals. Another positive about Donaldson is the passion she plays with on the floor.
Takari Powell / 5’11 F / Ribault
The work Powell has put in to get to this point has been impressive. Powell plays with grit and a little edge to her gsme and loves to mix it up on the inside. Powell plays a power game on the inside and is always looking to be physical. She has a nice mid-range jumper and can score on either side of the basket. Powell rebounds the ball well and is a workhorse on the offensive glass.
Ca’zaria Britt / G, SF / Raines
Britt is primed to have a good season this year and her all-around game will serve her well. Defensively, She is good on the ball defender and has active hands and feet. Her offensive game has made great strides and Britt has a good midrange game and she can shoot the three. During the Memorial weekend in AAU, Britt had an impressive stat line, averaging 10pts, 5 rebs and 3 steals per game. She will look to produce similar numbers this 2022 -2023 campaign.
Terryanna Medlock / 5’10 G-SF / Ribault
Medlock is a lengthy and smooth player on the basketball court. She is very reliable on the court and consistently makes the right play. She has a nice midrange shot and can also knock the shot down from behind the arc. Defensively, Medlock plays good on-ball defense and can defend two to three positions on the court. She has a great motor and hustles on every play. She can handle the ball well for her size. She will be a name to follow this upcoming season.
[player_tooltip player_id=’430254′ first=’Joy’ last=’Wright’] / 5’10 PF / Raines
Wright is a super athletic player who has small forward skills in a power forward’s frame. I saw Wright going toe to toe against Andrew Jackson in the Gateway tournament and I was impressed with her fight on the inside. She is super athletic and strong and can put the ball on the floor and get to the rim.
Kaylee Singh / 6’0 PF / Sandlewood
Singh can really fit the role of the bucket and pale type of player on the team. She is physical and aggressive, and she can defend and rebound well enough to take some of the load . This past summer, Singh showed a lot of improvement in the rebounding department and scoring points in the paint. Singh is developing into a solid power forward and will be a nice addition for teammate Jada Jones Jada Jones 6'4" | PF Sandalwood | 2023 State FL .
