The phrase three-level scorer is often used to decribe a prospect who can get to the rim, pull up in the midrange, and shoot from behind the arc. Over the past few weeks, we had a chance to see some of the best shooters in the State of Florida. In this article, we look at some of the top three level scorers in the 2025 class.
Jaida Civil Jaida Civil 5'11" | PG Palm Bay | 2025 State FL is one of the top prospects in the State of Florida and also one of the top athletes in the State of Florida in any sport. When Civil attacks the basket you brace yourself for what is about to occur. If she were to dunk, it wouldn’t even be a surprise. She is just that incredible of an athlete. There is more than just the athleticism, she can flat out ball on a basketball court. Civil can get down hill to the basket and score. I’ve yet to see anyone consistently impede her path to the rim. When she doesn’t get all the way. She can pull up for her potent midrange shot. The area that Civil has really improved is behind the three point line. She consistently knocks down the three and has that clutch gene that surfaces behind the arc. Civil had the game winning three in one game last week.
Asya Lara Barnes Asya Lara Barnes 6'0" | SF DME Academy | 2025 State FL is a beast and can score with the best of them. At Southern Jams, Barnes scored close to 30 (28 points) in one game and took all the tools out of the bag. She knocked down 4 threes, got to the rim and scored layups or got to the line, and was the truth in the midrange are. Barnes can score the ball and is one of the top 3 level scorers in the 2025 class,
Abby Knauff
Abby
Knauff
5'9" | SG
Bolles | 2025
State
FL
is one of the top three level scores and she’s been doing that since her freshman season. Knauff is one of the best catch and shoot players on this list. Knauff is athletic and can get in the paint and score the midrange, and she can get to the rim and score. Her main shot is the three pointer. She knocked down 74 threes and shot it at a 37 percent rate.
Olivia Olson
Olivia
Olson
5'10" | SF
Mainland | 2025
State
FL
is a theee level scorer and she is constantly in attack mode. She keeps defenders on their heels with her ability to penetrate and has a great pull-up jumper in the mid range. She was on a mission at the sunshine showdown and the mission was accomplished. She shot the three well and scored at the rim and in the paint.
Noelle Mengel
Noelle
Mengel
5'9" | PG
Bloomingdale | 2025
State
FL
attacks the rim like none other and her ability to shoot the midrange and floater off of the attack is impressive. Mengel made it to the final 4 in Lakeland and her performance in the semifinals was epic. The three level scoring ability was at maximum level. Mengel can shoot off of the catch, but does most of her damage off of the dribble.
Janai Jordan Janai Jordan 5'9" | PG Providence Jacksonville Florida | 2025 State FL had a great high school season last season and also made it to Lakeland for the state championships. She was clutch all season and showed that ability at Southen Jam. Jordan is crafty with the ball in her hand and knows how to get to rim and draw fouls. Jordan was a menace behind the three point line. She is one of the top three level scorers in the 2025 class.

Dr Phillips | 2025
State
FL
is one of the best shooters on the list and shot the three ball last Swanson in the high 40 percent area (47 percent). At Southern Jam and Sunshine State showdown, Rolan showed quickness to the rim and a nice short range jumper, but that three ball is her calling card.
Holland Harris
Holland
Harris
6'2" | SF
Monteverde Academy | 2025
State
FL
is probably the best midrange shooter on this this list, but that three ball shot was on point at Southern jam. Harris causes havoc in the paint and can score off the glass, and has a sweet pull up shot. Getting to the rim is also a strong part of Harris’s game. Her ability to handle the ball allows her to get in the paint and “eat”. She is also a great rebounder and can score on the putbacks. Harris can score at all three levels. Coaches were watching her recently and a few commented on her ability to shoot the “J” at an elite level.
Zion McRae Zion McRae 5'4" | SG The Villages | 2025 State FL is another player who just finds a way. She is a beast in the transition game and can put the ball in the basket. McRae averaged over 21 points per game and knocked down 67 threes for the season. McCrae can get into the lane and maneuver in the lane and score. McRae can really shoot and score the ball.
