The event was held from Sept 24-25. I was able to attend the event on Sunday, Sept. 25, and here’s a look at some additional talent I saw.
1. Kate Hackney Kate Hackney 5'9" | SF Bishop Alemany | 2024 State CA – Bishop Alemany 2024
Hackney is a solid wing who stood out defensively. She has good size to be able to guard multiple positions. Shes good on ball and slides her feet well to stay in front of ball-handlers. Fights through screens. Dives on the floor for loose balls. She plays well in transition getting out on the break as the ball-handler or as a finisher.

– Corona Centennial 2024
Johnson was a pretty good shooter. She has consistent range out to the three-point line and has a quick release combined with very good shooting form. She has solid handles too and is in the mold of a scoring guard who can dribble against defensive pressure. In the halfcourt, she can create separation and shoot off the dribble. Defensively, she communicates well. She keeps a low stance and has quick hands. Does well switching off screens.
3. Jalyn Poe – Lynwood 2025
Poe was a good point guard and floor leader. Capable ball-handler who stays under control and runs the offense. A pass-first player all the way who is always looking to make the right play. Keeps the ball moving and looks for her teammates. She is a smaller guard but her size doesn’t hamper her ability on the court. Quick off the dribble and can get into the paint.
4. Alexis Swillis – San Joaquin Memorial 2025
Swillis has a lot of upside for a young post. She can get position in the paint and when she gets the ball she’s able to make a quick move around the rim with a soft touch. She has a good midrange jumper and can face up and shoot. She uses her size and length well to crash the glass, especially on the offensive end to keep possessions alive and get put-back opportunities.
