There were a lot of ball players at the Southeast Showcase. Everyone didn't get the overall Standout label, but there were some flat out ballers in the building. There is a notebook full of notes about these players and great plays they made at the showcase. In this article, we look at theses ballplayers made an impression and deserve an honorable mention.

2023

Jameria Robinson / 2023 / 5'6 SG / Lake Wales / PGH UNRANKED

Robinson is a smooth customer on the court. She has a very sweet jumper at the midrange area and can also step out and knock down the three. With good handles and the ability to shoot, she did a good job of running the point and moving over to the shooting guard position when needed. She does a good job of running the floor, whether filling the lanes or leading the break herself. Robinson played very well at the Southeast Showcase and she won't be under the PGH radar for long.

[player_tooltip player_id='470421' first='Nakayla' last='Green'] / 2023 / 5'3 PG / Cocoa / PGH Ranked #189

Green ran the point guard position admirably at the showcase. She is a fast guard who can shoot, drive the ball, and pass the ball. She plays the game like a true point guard and provides great leadership on the court. She was also very good on the defensive end and again used her quickness to harass the opposing ball handler.

[player_tooltip player_id='352603' first='Tricia' last='Carmer'] /2023 / 6'0 PF / Viera / PGH Ranked # 117

Carmer was listed as a forward but she played the guard position like a point forward. She was always around the action. Advanced the ball with selfless play and made good decisions all day long. She shot it well, passed it well, and had some nice drives. She scored at every level and was really impressive at the Showcase.

[player_tooltip player_id='247204' first='Lynn' last='Rieth'] / 2023 / 5'6 SG / Holy Trinity Episcopal Academy / PGH Ranked # 93

Rieth really shot the ball well at the Southeast Showcase. She has a quick release and only needs a little space to get her shot off. She connected on some long three-pointers for the day and made some nice passes in the pick-and-roll game.

2024

[player_tooltip player_id='264973' first='Molly' last='Smith'] / 2024/ Horizon / PGH Ranked #50

Really liked the composure and point guard play of Smith. She is a selfless player who is always looking up the court and and advancing the ball up the court. She can shoot the three and is a very good passer and floor general on the court.

[player_tooltip player_id='506033' first='Autumn' last='Thomas'] /2024 / 6'0 SF / Palm Bay Magnet / PGH Ranked #96

Thomas was a player to be noticed at the showcase. She has that workhorse mentality and that's evident on both sides of the court. On defense, she contests every shot and on offense, she is constantly on the move. She is very effective at working for open shots and for putbacks after the offensive rebound. Thomas also runs the court very well. Has soft hands and can finish once she catches it. She's one of those quiet players that could score 10 points and it would go unnoticed.

[player_tooltip player_id='248287' first='Kiyana' last='Hunter'] / 2024 / 5'3 CG / Mandarin / PGH Ranked #151

Hunter did some nice things out there on the courts. She shot the ball very well, especially from behind the three-point line, where she connected on at least three for the day. Hunter also did a good job of advancing the ball and made some nice passes in transition. She showed versatility playing the point position and moving over to the shooting guard when personnel on the floor dictated it.

[player_tooltip player_id='349281' first='Peyton' last='Smith'] / 2024 / 5'9 SG / Palm Bay Magnet / PGH Ranked #127

Smith is a versatile player who play on the inside and the outside. She has the size to play four positions on the court. At the showcase, she spent most of the day driving to the basket. She did connect on a few jumpers as well and showed she could score on all three levels of the court.

[player_tooltip player_id='495956' first='Karyna' last='Rivera'] / 2024 / 5'5 SG / Saint Cloud / PGH Ranked #268

Rivera was very solid at the Southeast Showcase and she can flat out shoot the ball. She also has the ability to take the ball to the rim. She played with lots of energy on both ends of the court. She can score the ball on all levels on the court, and she does not hesitate to let it fly when she is open for the shot. She was one of the top 3 point shooters in the building. With more exposure, she won't be under the PGH radar for long.

[player_tooltip player_id='426336' first='Natalie' last='Allen'] / 2024 / 5'8 / Eau Gallie / PGH #81

Allen was another guard who stood out at the Southeast Showcase. Allen can shoot the cover off the ball. She had some nice three pointers on the day. Allen handles the ball well and is very high IQ player player.
