Six courts full of talent some as young as the fifth grade, however, somehow he did an excellent job of grouping the talent together. Players got a chance to compete in front of media, evaluators and All-American selection team members. Here are the top performers of the day.
Vanessa Harris l 5-8 l Combo Guard l Bishop McNamara l 2025
Vanessa started the camp slow and I didn’t notice that she was there at first (it’s possible she showed up late). Then bam, she was the hottest player in the gym winning every one on one matchup and was the 2 on 2 champion (with Jordyn Jackson). She had powerful drives and rebounded over natural post players. There was a stretch for about an hour that she was literally unstoppable.
Jordyn Jackson l 6-2 l Wing l Sidwell Friends l 2026
Jordyn was an absolute beast, imposing her will on most everyone that stepped up to challenge her. She was very physical and showed impressive strength. At times she looked like a college player playing against high school players. She showed range knocking down the three and would have been my pick for the MVP award if one were to be handed out.
Olivia Hillard l 5-9 l Combo Guard l Courtland l 2025
Olivia has a great body and some really good ball handling skill. She has a bag full of countermoves and a good shot. She drives to the basket strong and is a solid defender. Her game would fit a lot of college programs now and only being a sophomore she will continue to improve to limitless levels.
Caliyah Devillasee l 5-7 l Point Guard l Good Counsel l 2025
Caliyah’s showed a high level of skill and vision at the point guard. Her maturity has caught up with her skill and she is much more efficient than she was as a year ago when she needed to make the flashy play. Her shot looked beautiful and had nice elevation. Playing with and against some of the areas best she looked right at home.
Sanai Green l 6-0 l Wing l Stewart School l 2026
Sanai quietly stood out by just doing everything that she was supposed to do. She perfectly executed every station in the drill work. She shot the ball well and played defense challenging the other top players in the clinic. She scored from multiple areas on the court. She made the game look easy.
Kennedy Hall l 6-3 l Wing l Lackey l 2025
Kennedy was frustrating to everyone who attacked the basket when she was in the lane. She rejected shot after shot cancelling out some of the best moves players had to offer. She looks natural at the wing and you can tell she works hard on her perimeter skills making major improvements from just a year ago. Her shot looks fluid even out to the three and her ball handling is better that a lot of point guards.
