McClain is a double-double machine. She’ll average one next high school season, and honestly, I don’t even think it will be close. McClain can challenge shooters and has a feel for when the shot goes up, which is a part of how she is able to block so many shots. McClain is always a threat for put back buckets.
VanTimmeren is an elite talent at the forward position. She has demenstrated the ability to score in a variety of ways, from her back to the basket to facing the rim. VanTimmeren has very solid footwork on the defensive end, and when you watch her it’s easy to see that she’s a true student of the game. VanTimmeren is a disciplined player that can read the opponents defense and figure out how to attack it.
Max first made a name for herself at the Prep Girls Hoops Top 250 prior to her freshman season. She stepped in an event littered with next level talent and was instantly one of the most impressive post players. Max constantly works for position under the rim and earns very high percentage shots. She has strong hands that snag rebounds that are anywhere near her.
Alyssa Carson Alyssa Carson 6’0″ | PF Buchanan | 2025 State MI isn’t just Faith Carson Faith Carson 6’4″ | C Buchanan | 2023 State MI ‘s sister. She has her own unique skill set that sets her apart. While she has the ability to play physically under the rim and do battle on the blocks, what’s very intriguing about her game is her ability to work off the high post and her comfort with her mid range game. Carson has the looks of a scorer that can get the job done in a variety of ways. I really like her long term upside.
Wiggins is an athletic forward that has some versatility to her game. In fact, some have her listed as a small forward. She can score like an athletic wing, but attacks the glass like a powerful post player. Wiggins has a ton of upside in her skill set and athletic profile. I wouldn’t dare cap her potential. She has the ability to round up handfuls of double-doubles in points and rebounds this high school season.
