Class “A” Knockdown Shooters Preseason Preview

Coming in at 6' she not only knows how to use her size in the paint, but is versatile at hitting open shots, as well as shots in transition fluidly. Hakim is the best returning FG% shooter in the EDC at 61.4% from the floor, not only from around the rim, but 10-15' out as well. Without a doubt she had an impressive showing last year, and with her work ethic/abilities don't expect her to slow down anytime soon.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>[player_tooltip player_id='375723' first='Teigan' last='Malo']: 5'10 G Fargo South 2024 - An all-around quality player who knows how to do her job and does it very well. Malo is another effective shooter who capitalizes on good shots, knocking down shots off the catch and ability to create space between the defenders. With her good size she also has a good knack at working the paint and having a nice touch around the rim. Last she shot 30% not only from the field but is also an outside threat hitting 30% from the three as well. With her shooting/scoring abilities and confidence to knock down shots from all over, there is no doubt she will be a very impactful player for Fargo North. The Freshman jitters are out of the way, be on the lookout for Thiel to put up some big numbers this year.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>[player_tooltip player_id='100460' first='Maya' last='Aguilar']: 5'9 G Minot 2023- Aguilar is an all-around player who may be overlooked, but without a doubt is effective and impactful to say the least. Her ability to knock down shots in transition, step backs or off the bounce pull-up shots is what makes her such a big asset to an offense. With a shooting percentage of 41.6 and a high basketball IQ she is an all-around quality player that knows how to connect and fill up a stat sheet.
