2023 Rankings Update: Stock Risers

Even entering their senior seasons, we see players that raise their stock and/or moved up the list of prospects or cement their spot on it. Reid is prolific with the ball in her hands and can create space for her jumper whenever needed. She has in the gym range on her shot as well. Pace of the game will definitely not be an issue for Reid, as she already excels in an up and down the court type of game. Reid matched up with D1 commits at a PGH Circuit event and she was the one that set the tone of the game. She often times was flat out dominate for her team on the PGH Circuit. Pasinos was often times the primary ball handler and the top scoring option. She didn't just play those roles, but she thrived in them. I'm convinced that we had her very underrated for quite some time. What the number is now compared to what it was before is only part of the story. Terry showed at that event that she can flat out play the game. She brought energy to both ends of the floor and picked up some big defensive stops. She's a solid shooter that can fill it up from mid range or from behind the arc. Miss Brewer, I offer my apologies, because I definitely underestimated your game. To start, she's a much better shooter than I had originally thought. Much better might not even sum it up. SIGNIFICANTLY better is more like it. Brewer can fill it up from deep, even with a hand in her face. Pobocik is a way more influential player than I had realized last year and she needed to move up. She can be considered a defensive stopper on the perimeter and she takes pride in her effort on that end. The old adage says, defense travels, and I can see it carrying through for her at the next level.
