Brewer once again displayed a nice combination of strength and shooting skills. I really think that she can use this at the next level and it adds to her upside. Brewer hit 3 triples in the game. In a 36-24 defensive slugfest, having a shooter like Brewer is so important and it was key in Ann Arbor Pioneer’s victory. She’s going to be critical to her team’s success throughout this season.

Brewer may not even know it, but she sent a big message my way since last high school season. Miss Brewer, I offer my apologies, because I definitely underestimated your game. To start, she’s a much better shooter than I had originally thought. Much better might not even sum it up. SIGNIFICANTLY better is more like it. Brewer can fill it up from deep, even with a hand in her face. She has a knack for making the little plays that may or may not show up on the stat sheet.

Brewer probably deserves to be ranked higher. She has a lot of strength and physicality of the ball and it’s a real advantage most of the times that she’s on the court. Brewer is probably known best as a shooter. She can bury a triple off the dribble and the catch.

Brewer is on pace to have an excellent senior season. She’ll be one of the most experienced veterans in the city of Ann Arbor. Brewer is a dangerous shooter from behind the arc and can be a game changer with that shot. If she heats up, opponents could be in a lot of trouble.
