[player_tooltip player_id='555432' first='Tia' last='Chaney'] - Philip Simmons HS

Caney came out firing from the corners today with her perimeter shooting. Tia likes to camp out behind the three-point line while shooting the ball at a high clip. She can be a zone-buster on the floor with her ability to make shots while showing good shot selection.

[player_tooltip player_id='176613' first='Trinity' last='Nesbitt'] - Woodmont HS (Piedmont)

Nesbitt was active all day long in the Lady Wildcats victory. Trinity likes to work at times from the top of the key with a 2-3 dribble drive to the bucket. Trinity had no problems jumping on the floor for loose balls and scrapping for anything that came in her direction.

[player_tooltip player_id='273201' first='Zhaire' last='Mack'] - Philip Simmons HS

Mack can really make an impact on the game without scoring the ball much at all. Zhaire just constantly brings effort at ALL TIMES especially in the layup line. She is a chatterbox at times in a good way with her teammates and always remains in communication on the floor and on the bench. She plays the game to fullest level when it comes to effort and NEVER takes plays off. She's a bit of a stat sheet stuffer at times.

[player_tooltip player_id='496213' first='Antonia' last='Brewer'] - Summerville HS

Brewer finished with 13 points today in the Lady Wave win. Antonia was able to expand her game out to the 3-point line when she wasn't posting up down on the block. She connected on a few three pointers today. Brewer will be a nice pick and pop player at the next level or a stretch 4. She is really starting to pick up her game from a year ago.

[player_tooltip player_id='175384' first='Kylee' last='Kellermann'] made a return to the Iron Horses lineup this week and scored 13 points. Kylee a senior guard went down with an injury early last season and missed the rest of the season along with the Grassroots basketball this past summer. Kellermann is one of the 3 seniors on this Iron Horses that has built this program from the bottom up. She entered season with 1,053 career points. Kylee was still wearing a right knee brace today. Can the Iron Horses make a move in Class 3A this season in the Lower State?

[player_tooltip player_id='404108' first='Emma' last='Daugherty'] and [player_tooltip player_id='453217' first='Molly' last='Daugherty'] are already making good contributions to the Summerville HS Lady Wave program. The sister duo transferred in this summer from Indiana. Emma was able to manufacture 11 points in the win today over Goose Creek HS. She brings such great versatility with her ability to finish around the cup with either hand or step-out and knockdown the open jumper. Emma plays active on both ends of the floor and really does a good job of staying active in the passing lanes.

Molly does a little bit of everything at times for the Lady Wave. She can handle the rock while driving it or rebound the ball through traffic. Molly can impact the game on both ends with just doing all the intangibles on the floor. This duo will look to help the Lady Wave make a deep run this coming season.

[player_tooltip player_id='496262' first='Madison' last='Mclamore'] made the move down to Goose Creek HS last season mid-year after starting out at South Florence HS. Madison finished with 10 points today in the Lady Gators loss. Mclemore was able to finish at the cup with her left-hand today when she wasn't connecting on some nice mid-range jumpers.

Ashley Ridge HS was a bit short handed today in the post with some players missing the action due to holiday travels. This offseason Jimmy Brown took over and has added a few new names to the mix. [player_tooltip player_id='175390' first='Nadia' last='President'] came into Ashley Ridge HS from Cross HS while shooting guard [player_tooltip player_id='324266' first='Tonya' last='Edmonson'] made the move over from Summerville HS. [player_tooltip player_id='366680' first='Zanyah' last='Sanders-Smith'] transferred in from nearby Military Magnet Academy. All three players saw good minutes for the Lady Swamp Foxes this weekend.

[player_tooltip player_id='555429' first='Tyana' last='Pullman'] is a new name to follow in the 2026 class. Tyana scored 17 points and grabbed 13 rebounds according to my unofficial stats here today. Pullman was all over the glass on both ends while maintaining to keeping the ball up high after claiming it off the glass. She really did a good job of running the floor and working for position in the paint while playing aggressive.
