Dabbs Week 3 Scouting- combo guards

Plays with confidence and is a solid scorer, good catch-and-shoot player from the perimeter. Her court vision was impressive and she also has good court awareness. Can push the ball downhill to her teammate. She is a solid contributor at both ends of the floor, is a good three-point threat with a solid perimeter game. I did like the way Halleg was able to stay poised in an uptempo game against a very good Milton Union team when I saw them. She has good handles and looks for the open teammate. Good quickness and plays with a high motor, looking to make the right play. Moves well and can create off the dribble. Uses her length to her advantage, and she is a steady shooter with a good percentage. Maddie also has good court vision. One prominent summer basketball person texted me after seeing her play praising her game. I agree, her ceiling is very good. Katie is a player who is skilled in many different aspects of the game. She has a good defense skillset, can create turnovers and has active hands with good quickness. The senior dropped 16 points with a variety of offensive chances while grabbing 10 rebounds, giving her a double-double. She also added 7 assists, as she displayed her all-around skillset as a scorer and someone who could find her teammates.
