Adalynn Hines
Adalynn Hines
Hines is off to a nice start with the Jets. For a freshman, she has a nice skillset and looks to continue to improve her game. She is a crisp passer and gets rid of the ball quickly. She also sees the floor well and can play in transition, making plays happen for her team. I just like the way she distributes. She is athletic and fiery with the ball.
While Houston is looking to build a successful program, they have the players to begin that build. I really like the play of junior point guard Katie Maier Katie Maier 5’7″ | PF Houston | 2024 OH , who I have seen a few times since the summer. She has a strong point guard set with good court vision and can distribute to her teammates. She accelerates well to the rim and can force turnovers. Can push the tempo on the break and score.

This Otterbein recruit is a point guard who plays with a lot of intensity when she on the floor. Against pressure, she does a nice job handling the ball and running the offense. She also has very good court vision and can distribute the ball for a better shot. Plays poised and shows good leadership.
Ashlynne Osborne
Ashlynne Osborne
Is a good leader at the point guard spot for the Trailblazers. Ashlynne handles the ball well and is a crisp passer, good court vision and able to put the ball in the right spot. She has a good perimeter game with range out behind the arc. Also has quick feet allowing her to make the big plays.
It was the first time I have seen the Indiana sophomore, but I was really impressed with her poise and skill level for her team. She showed good catch-and-shoot ability from deep range and gets her feet set to let it fly. I like her high motor and she is engaged in the game, active and plays with intensity. I think she has a very good future in the game if she continues to work and develop. (featured photo above)

Got to see her play last week and the first thing that stands out is her ability to play good aggressive defense. Does a nice job with active hands to force mistakes and create tempo. Good handles and a solid passer. Can crash the boards and she does so much more than score points. Effective in making her team better.
