Gabby has signed with Mount Saint Mary’s and is the best player in Howard County. She is one hundred percent healthy and has improved her shooting tremendously. She is a lock down defender and a fierce competitor. You can engrave that Howard County player of the year plaque right now.
Highlights
Amourie is another fierce competitor that is capable of taking over a game. She is an excellent leader and her teammates feed off her energy and drive. She will put up big numbers on her way to Anne Arundel County player of the year. She signed with California State University-Bakersfield.
Aryss is off to a scorching hot start this season and has St. Timothy’s as the favorite to win the IAAM B conference title. She is hands down the most athletic player in the league and cannot be guarded with single coverage. She has signed with Lasalle University.
Milan was my co-Rookie of the Year last year as she led Mercy to an IAAM B conference championship. There is no bigger competitor in the area and Mercy always has a chance when she is on the court.
Kennedy is coming off an injury and is easing into playing time, but the results so far have been good. If she is able to get back to full speed her dominance in the paint could propel McDonogh to another A conference title and her to POY.
Highlights
One of the top scorers and most dangerous shooters in the area, Lauren will have Hereford in the Baltimore County and 2A state championship races again. She’s a versatile player and gives defenses fits trying to keep track of her.
Ande’a is headed to Delaware next year and is set up for a good senior campaign. She has improved her range out to the three-point line, which makes her even more dangerous. She could put up some big numbers in the IAAM.
Da’Brya recently committed to Norfolk State and is ready to lead the Engineers to another state title. She is one of the most lethal scoring guards in the area and should be in the running for all types of recognition.
