1 – Wow are Indya Davis Indya Davis 5'9" | SG West Bloomfield | 2024 State MI and Summer Davis Summer Davis 5'9" | PG West Bloomfield | 2024 State MI good!
It’s not just that the sisters are good, that’s such an obvious statement. It’s that they are even better than I thought and are getting better. Indya’s offensive game is way ahead of where she was last year.
Summer’s on a whole different level. I like how she carries a very complete game and on both ends of the floor.
2 – The more I watch / look at film, the moreI really like the look of Greenville’s team. A couple reasons are Megan Leslie Megan Leslie SG Greenville | 2023 State MI and Alexus Dunn Alexus Dunn 5'7" | SG Greenville | 2024 State MI .
Leslie has been a flat out bucket getter and she showed it again leading Greenville to a Holiday Tournament championship. She dropped a game high 25 points.
I’ve always liked what Dunn brings to the table. She’s a high IQ player that can stretch the floor.

3 – Tayla Dillard Tayla Dillard 5'10" | CG Kalamazoo Central | 2024 State MI . Enough said.
Dillard is having a terrific season. Not just offensively, but she’s been thriving in every aspect of her game. Dillard was recently recognized as a finalist for Prep Girls Hoops national Player of the Week.

4 – Don’t tell anyone, but they’ve got a little something going in Howell. Howell’s developing a pretty nice tradition of solid girls basketball and I dont think they’re going anywhere anytime soon.
Gabby Piepho
Gabby Piepho
Howell has great senior leadership in Deurloo, Daugard, and Rayl. Piepho can be that next generation judging by her play at the Motor City Roundball Classic where she earned an MGabby PiephoP award. Don’t forget that Alison Farr Alison Farr 5’5″ | PG Howell | 2025 State MI is in the program as well. The future looks bright.
5 – Teams from Michigan needs to have more lenient rules as far as playing out of state teams. I know this is a sore subject and something we all know. But watching the likes of DEPSA, Westfield Prep, West Bloomfield, etc. play some bordering state teams was really exciting. The talent in this state is elite and it’d be great for the rest of at least the midwest to see it.
6 – How about those Dawgs? Otherwise known as Chelsea. They can really play. Chelsea has a tremendous mix of elite playmakers and hard working team first stars.
Let’s start here. Wells is one of the most talented prospects in the state. She’s so silky smooth and gets the ball to her spots.
Lay is a versatile forward that can attack in a variety of ways. She’s a top level talent for sure.
McCalla is the backbone of the team…..no, that’s not enough. She’s the type of player and prospect that coaches want to build a program around.

7 – Hit a Romulus game this year. I like the talent they’re sending out this season.
Jones has taken her game to a new level this season. She can be a go-to scorer and will create turnovers on the end.

Samaira Searcy
Searcy is an exciting instant impact freshman. She just posted a double-double in points and rebounds last night.
Hughes is a playmaker in the backcourt. She’s quick on D and is an excellent passer.
