[player_tooltip player_id='495953' first='Jiyah' last='Hamilton'] was impressive during week 4. It's not just her scoring but the Sophomore guard shares the ball with her teammates, and when she is open she consistently knocks the shot down. Last week the Sophomore guard had 2 games where she scored 14 points, and another game with 9 points. Hamilton is doing a good job of playing the point guard position. She hustles, gets to a lots of loose balls and rebounds well for a small guard.

Durant, the do it all point guard had a great performance in week 5 with 27 points, 3 steals, 3 assists, and 6 rebounds. Lauber plays with great speed and puts pressure on the defense. She also gets to the rim and draws fouls to get to the line. She was clutch from the feeethrow line down the stretch

Was really impressed at how efficient Miller has become on the floor. She is still an agressive scorer, but her shot selection was very good and she was money in the transition game. In the Mandarin game, the senior guard had some nice three point shots, and one at a crucial moment in overtime. Miller also put a punctuation on a stellar high school career, joining the 1,000 point club after eclipsing the mark last week.

Staples (cover) had a monster week averaging 23 points for the week, including a 30 point performance over Apopka. The Sophomore is one of the best pure shooters in the State and is always around the 40 percent mark.

In week 5, Thomas had a 30 point performance that was likely her career high. She was very good in the paint and really had it cooking from the freethrow line. The Junior guard - forward can play in the post and on the wing and is a magician in the painted area. Thomas did a a good job of handling the ball and running the offense. She was also dynamic in transition.

Blockton had 17 points in an overtime thriller. The Sophomore forward continues to impress with her versatility, shooting from behind the arc and scoring on the inside. Her rebounding ability continues to be impressive. Blockton also had a few nice drives to the basket, showing she can put the ball down on the floor. She can also finish on both sides of the basket.

Haley Revak /2024 / 5'4 SG / Orange Park

Revak, the junior sharp shooter was at her best during week 5, knocking down 5 three pointers. The impressive part of Revak's performance was staying in the moment. She wasn't phased by the pressure of the moment. Revak is making a case as one of the top three point shooters on the First Coast.

[player_tooltip player_id='434875' first='Kelly' last='Cramer'] / 2024 / 5'7 G / St Joseph

Cramer has been tearing it up this season and after week 5, the Junior PG is averaging over 20 points per game. Cramer does it all on the court and is a scoring machine.

[player_tooltip player_id='349280' first='Maya' last='Richards'] /2024 / 5'8 SG, SF / Ponte Vedra

If there is someone on the First Coast who runs more than Richards they are probably on the cross country team. Richards brings the energy to the basketball game. She was a defensive star against Oakleaf, even running down [player_tooltip player_id='166160' first='Kaylah' last='Turner'] from behind and forcing a jump ball against [player_tooltip player_id='91660' first='Fantasia' last='James']. Richards, the junior speedster had countless taps and deflections and was very disruptive. She found herself in the mix, all game long for loose balls and rebounds. Richards scored well, but her impact on the game came from her hustling and making plays on the defensive end.
