Mitchell is back in full force for the Lady Red Foxes this season. Brooke played as an 8th grader and didn’t play last season. Mitchell has really shown some good moments this season from the perimeter for Head Coach Justin Johnson. She is known to knockdown shots on the perimeter and really can keep defenses on their toes with her play. Mitchell is averaging 8.5 ppg and 6 rebounds and 2.3 steals this season for the Lady Red Foxes (15-6).
Moody really can get to the basket in a hurry at times for the Lady Lions (12-9). MariAsia is averaging 8.8 ppg and 3.2 steals this season. She plays the game in constant hustle mode at all times and is always looking to stir up the action. Moddy can get the ball into the paint and gaps and find an open teammate for a quality look. She plays the game very mature for her grade and doesn’t look to force the issue while on the floor.
Davis really likes to set up shop at times out behind the three-point line. She has a sweet stroke along with good shot selection. Thanna really excepts her role on well on this talented Redhawks (18-4) squad. She understands to be shot ready to receive the ball in the pocket. Thanna will have her numbers increase in the years to come that’s for sure and a given. Davis currently sits at 4.8 ppg for the Redhawks. Can the Redhawks make a good run this season in Class 4A?
Swinton isn’t much of a scorer for the Lady Tigers but she sure doesn’t mind bringing some toughness to the floor. She plays the game with a blue-collar mindset for the purple and gold down in the paint. Leanissa plays the game with her back to the basket down in the paint for Head Coach Frank Williams. Swinton is averaging 6.2 ppg and 10.7 rebounds this season while shooting 59% from the floor.
