2025 5'5 G Sophie Morales (Seton Catholic): Morales is one of the best up-and-coming guards in the state of Arizona. Morales can do it all on any given night. She is a lights-out shooter from the perimeter and also a terrific passer. She is currently leading the entire state in assists with 83. Morales is averaging 7pts, 5asts and 5 rbs a game on a 13-5 Seton Catholic team. Morales is one of those players that will do whatever it takes to win. If her team needs her to hit a couple threes.. She's capable of hitting the next five. Morales is a name to watch for come playoff time.

2023 5'4 G [player_tooltip player_id='339090' first='Morgan' last='Escobedo'] (Pinnacle): Escobedo is the perfect floor general on a really talented Pinnacle team. She is currently averaging 10.5pts, 5.5rbs and 5.3asts a game during her senior season. Pinnacle is currently 14-4 and starting to click on all cylinders. Escobedo excels at being the senior leader on her squad as she is 3rd in scoring on her team behind two really talented scorers in Junior [player_tooltip player_id='205642' first='Mia' last='Singstock'] and Sophomore [player_tooltip player_id='558895' first='Heather' last='Stedman']. Escobedo leads Pinnacle in assists and steals.

2024 5'5 G [player_tooltip player_id='205674' first='Isabela' last='Molina'] (Cibola): Molina is a freaky-fast point guard with a tight handle. She has the ball on a string and can cross the best of the best defenders in the state. Molina is best when she is getting downhill either in transition or in the half-court. Molina is currently averaging 8pts, 5asts and 4rbs a game for Cibola. Cibola is currently sitting at a record of 14-7 and Molina is leading her team in assists and steals. Molina is a player that helps steer the ship at Cibola. When she is making plays and finding her teammates, Cibola becomes one of the top teams in the state.

2023 5'3 G [player_tooltip player_id='208244' first='Mya' last='Way'] (Mesquite): Way is a natural leader on a very talented Mesquite squad that also has a lot of young talent. Way is averaging 10pts, 5asts and 3stls a game on a 14-5 Mesquite squad. Way has played in an impressive 63 Varsity games in her Mesquite career. Way will be the glue to her teams tournament run this postseason as she will be relied on heavily for experience and leadership.

2026 5'3 G Tatiana Harness (LEAGEC): Harness is a name to be made known in Arizona. The freshman sensation is leading her team in just about every statistical category including: points, FG %, assists, and steals. Harness is currently averaging 20.4pts, 5.6rbs, 4.3asts, and 5stls a game. LEAGEC is currently 16-6. Harness is a guard that can shoot it, pass it and defend at a very high level. Look for LEAGEC to make a run this post season being led at the helm by Tatiana Harness.

2025 5'5 G Savannah Helms (Fairfax): Helms is one of my favorite point guards to watch play basketball. She is so cool with the ball that she makes every play look easy. Fairfax is a very talented team with a ton of young talent. Helms might not lead her team in scoring but she impacts the game with her defense and her ability to find open teammates. I watched Helms play against Caesar Chavez earlier this year and she dropped a nasty behind the back pass for a wide-open layup in transition. Helms has helped glue her team to an impressive 15-4 record. Helms is averaging 10pts and 5asts a game.

2023 5'7 G [player_tooltip player_id='208236' first='Reese' last='Sellers'] (Yuma Catholic): Sellers is a gamer. She is capable of leading her team in any statistical category on any given night. She is currently averaging 17pts, 4asts, and 3.5stls a game on her 16-3 Shamrock squad. Sellers has played in over 80 games in her Yuma Catholic career averaging over 16 points and 5 assists a game during her junior and senior seasons. Yuma Catholic found a "4-leaf clover" in [player_tooltip player_id='208236' first='Reese' last='Sellers'].

2024 5'8 G [player_tooltip player_id='205653' first='Ysabel' last='Puente'] (Dream City Christian): Puente is a high-IQ point guard in the class of 2024. She rarely turns the ball over and always has her head-up looking for easy transition baskets. Puente's feel for the game is second to none. When she gets in the paint she's looking opposite corner for shooters or to drop a dime to one of her teammates for an easy layup. When Puente is playing off the ball she floats to open spots around the arc and back-cuts for open layups if she is being overplayed. Puente is currently averaging 12pts, 5rbs and 4asts a game on a very high-powered Dream City Christian team. She is currently playing with three division-1 commits and I don't think she is very far behind from receiving her own D1 offers.

2023 5'6 G [player_tooltip player_id='65617' first='Olivia' last='Arvallo'] (Valley Vista): The 3x state champ is one of the best floor generals in the state. She's a knockdown shooter from the perimeter and a top-tier passer when getting down hill. Arvallo is a team player that loves feeding the "hot hand". Some nights she may be the leading scorer and other nights she may be the 3rd or 4th leading scorer, but her impact on the game is still just as important. Arvallo is averaging 10pts, 4asts and 2stls a game on a 9-7 Monsoon team. Arvallo is a 3-time state champion for a reason and she has a really good shot at making a run at her 4th title.

2025 5'9 G [player_tooltip player_id='339069' first='Michaela' last='Fairwell'] (Desert Vista): Fairwell is an ELITE prospect in the class of 2025. She currently plays on quite possibly the best team in the state of Arizona in Desert Vista. Fairwell is currently averaging 9pts, 2asts, 2stls, and 2rbs a game during her sophomore season, but quite frankly those numbers don't tell you the impact she makes on her team. Fairwell has accepted the role of being the "grit" on her superstar team. She leads the press, puts her body on the line for loose balls and makes timely buckets. Fairwell has become one of the best cutters in the state and loves back-cutting to the short corner for easy uncontested jumpers. Fairwell is super athletic and her time is soon coming to solidify herself as one of the best guards in the class of 2025.
