Here’s just a handful of top performances by juniors that I have watched live, been sent by the player, or seen on Twitter. There are MANY other players who have stood out that I missed as well. Here’s some more of Devin’s Standouts!
Grace is 100% one of the top guards within the 2025 class. She proved that last year when she was a contributing player to the Lyncs when they won the state championship as just a freshman. Her game is still evolving in many ways. She gets to the hoop nicely and hits her shots smoothly. Against Liberty HS on 12/17/2022, she dropped 34 points while shooting 11-16 from the field including hitting 4 threes.

Maddy is a player who NEEDS to be on 4 year coaches radars. She has the skill set to play Division 1 basketball and she still has her senior year to go and improve her game. The self proclaimed “Board Queen” lives up to her nickname every time she steps on the court. She is relentless on the boards and is skilled down low. Against North Thurston on 12/21/2022, she dropped 15 points and 16 rebounds, including 8 offensive boards.
Highlights
Mikah is one of the best long range shooters in the entire 2024 class, maybe even in the state. She lets it fly from deep and is VERY accurate. She facilitates her offense nicely too, finding her open teammates and is always willing to pass the ball. Against Thomas Jefferson HS on 12/27/2022, she tied her school record with 7 three pointers made. She sank 7 of 10 attempts in route to 27 points along with 8 assists.
Here’s another key underclassman for this Newport team thats growing as the year progresses. She plays with so much energy on the court, it is contagious for her teammates. She takes pride in her defense and is great at moving her feet and turning her defender. Against Bainbridge on 12/29/2022 she also had a big time game dropping 23 points, grabbing 6 rebounds, and dishing out 4 assists.
