Whitsitt, a quick and efficient shooting guard, is averaging 21 PPG on 45% shooting while knocking down 38 of the 91 three pointers that she has attempted this year. Coming out of the break the Vikings are holding at a 9-2 record overall with some big time wins on their resume already from the first half of their season. A big part of this being due to the duo of point guard [player_tooltip player_id='63021' first='Bryar' last='Duwe'], who can really dish it out, and Whitsitt. The combination of the lethal point guard along with a knock down shooter and scorer in Whitsitt has been making a long day for their competition as of late. If we account for Helmrichs playing in a very competitive conference, center wise, she has been having a monster year while leading her team to an overall 5-7 record so far this season. The best way to put her game into words would be that she is a very hard worker in which her team plays through to find success. When everyone does their job and gets the ball into her hands, it usually ends up with a successful possession so if they can keep up more of that as time goes on, the better. Hinders, an aggressive forward, has been fantastic this season and a big reason why her Newell-Fonda team has started with a 5-1 record, their only loss going to the #1 ranked team in 3A in Estherville-Lincoln Central by 2 points in which they led going into the fourth quarter by 3 points. She may not be the only weapon on this team but having an efficient player like herself in the middle helps out with the rebounding aspect of things as well as altering shot attempts against players who get into the lane. Along with that stuff she does a great job of talking to her guards about what is going down on the court in that moment and making sure it's clear what they have to do to come out on top. I think there is a lot of promise here in Hinders. She plays for a highly ranked program while putting up good numbers in the programs success. Davis, who has one of the highest field goal percentages this season in the state, is averaging 26.8 PPG while also stacking up some rebounds and assists for her team. In general what you see out of Davis on the floor is what you get. She is the definition of a leading scorer and offensive weapon for her team and really has been for a good amount of time now. She does a lot of good things and some even great things when she is on the floor but I think the biggest factor with her game is the u0022itu0022 factor she possesses. She has this factor in her game where in the right moment and at the right time she is always making the right choices, pushing her team to success.
