With several articles already done on these classes, I’ve not had a hard time finding more players to write about. With rankings updates across the board coming in the next few months, the amount of players to be found seems endless. Here are a few more from the Class of 2025 and 2026.
She is a great shooter with a quick release, whether it be coming off a screen, shooting off the dribble, or catch and shoot. She has worked on all three and has become a good scoring guard averaging 14 points a game so far this season. She has made 31 triples through 13 games and is shooting 76% from the line. She also has some craftiness to her game which shows in her ability to finish around the hoop with either hand. She dropped 30 points in the season opener and has had 20 or more two other times.
Another impact freshman, she is a force on the block and uses her size and strength well to finish. She has good footwork which allows her to play bigger than she is. With the combination of skill and size, she is one to watch from the class of 2026 with a lot of upside. She rebounds well and plays physically. She has had at least a couple of double-doubles already this season for a good Emerald Ridge team.
What stands out to me is that she plays under control and understands how to change speeds and use her dribble to make plays. She sees the floor well (4 APG) and is athletic (6 RPG). She has a nice-looking compact shot that should show up more often than her six threes made show through 14 games. She is getting 11 points a game on the season and much of that can be attributed to her athleticism. She can also use the mid-range jumper effectively. She has recorded a couple of double-doubles and been close several more times. She is a well-rounded guard with good size and ball skills. A prospect to watch with a high ceiling.
She impacts games with her great quickness, especially on the defensive end getting lots of steals and turning them into buckets. She is a ball hawk and a great on-ball defender. Once she takes it she is off to the races using her speed to outrun the defense. She has been a big spark off the bench for Emerald Ridge and it usually starts with her defense.
A stat sheet stuffer, she is scoring 14 points a game along with 4 rebounds, 3 assists, and 3.4 steals through 15 games. She is more of a slashing type of guard as evidenced by her 92 free throw attempts (72%). She has scored over 20 three times and hit 19 twice as the second-leading scorer for Silas.
