This time period is unique in history compared to other countries and is one of the most romanticized part of our history. It is a time when a person was both outlaw and lawman, hero and villain, and a mixture of myth and fact. While there were some famous individuals of the West- think John Wesley Hardin or Wild Bill Hickock, many of the legends that stay with us today are famous siblings: Wyatt Earp and his brothers, Bat Masterson and his brothers, and Frank and Jesse James. These siblings struck terror in their foes, just like these siblings in Michigan are terrorizing defenses.
West Bloomfield Family
Calling WB a family couldn’t be more fitting, as the team has the Hendrix and Davis sisters on the team. While both sets of sisters are counted as Top 100 players in the state, I want to focus on Indya Davis Indya Davis 5'9" | SG West Bloomfield | 2024 State MI and Summer Davis Summer Davis 5'9" | PG West Bloomfield | 2024 State MI . Both of the girls are high energy players that can flat out shoot the rock. WB is uber talented and impossible to defend, but seriously, guard these two kids. Summer also adds great vision as a point guard, but at the end of the day, these kids will be at worst 3 and D stars at the next level, with super star as a ceiling.
Arbor Prep Twins
Stephanie Utomi Stephanie Utomi 5'9" | SG Arbor Prep | 2024 State MI and Stacy Utomi Stacy Utomi 5'10" | SF Arbor Prep | 2024 State MI are about as tough and as fearless as they come. They are both bruising forwards that are relentless on the boards and in transition. They use physicality to create And 1 opportunities and contest every shot. They feast in passing lanes, as you would expect with high energy defenders. They are also aggressive with outlet passes, which leads to a lot of layup opportunities for their teammates.
Rockford Siblings
No knock on any other siblings in the state or the ones on the list (who are phenomenal players), but I can’t think of a pair of siblings that are more well rounded. Both Anna Wypych Anna Wypych PG Rockford | 2025 State MI and Alyssa Wypych Alyssa Wypych 5'10" | PG Rockford | 2023 State MI are proficient in every method of scoring. Three pointers? Yup. Driving and posting up? Of course. Midrange? You get the picture. They are solid rebounders and defenders.
