Farmer is a very versatile forward for the Lady Knights. Tashiana still surely has best basketball still in front of her down the road here. She can the floor very well along with contesting and altering shots away on the defensive end. Tashiana is best it seems closer to the cup and playing in the paint. She will from time to time drop a short elbow or short corner jumper. Tashiana is quick off the floor and finishes through contact around the basket.
Farmer has picked up college interest this fall and played very little Grassroots basketball last spring and summer.
Alaysia originally comes from the Land of Lincoln but has played all of her high school career down here in the Palmetto State. Nash has a knack to score the ball from anywhere on the floor. She will connect on mid-range jumpers or simply attacking the basket from time to time. Alaysia eclipsed the 1,000-point barrier back in December this season the Lady Eagles.
Alaysia and her teammates will play Catawba Ridge HS in the opening round of the Class 4A Playoffs. Nash is currently averaging 18.1 ppg this season entering the playoffs.
Highlights
Grayson and the Lady Eagles will look to pick up a 5th straight state championship this coming season for Hilton Head Christian Academy. Jaida can get the ball downhill at times playing out on the wing. She does a good job of overpowering defenders at times on the way to the rack. Grayson can open up defenses with her ability to knockdown perimeter jumpers at times. She has showed some good progress this season with her game and skill set for the Lady Eagles.
Grayson is averaging 9.4 ppg this season on this very talented Lady Eagles (24-2) squad.
Beason has been a “Beast” at times this season for the Lady Grizzlies. She has really piled up the numbers this season for her career in the Upstate. KaDerrah has scored 1,742 career points entering the Class 1A Playoffs today for the Lady Grizzlies. She is currently averaging 21.7 ppg this season for the Lady Grizzlies (20-5).
Beason is very efficient with her shot selection and production at times. She can step-out and knockdown the jumper or take it to the cup. Can the Lady Grizzlies make a run this season to Aiken for a Class 1A State Championship?
Smith made a move last season over from Hillcrest HS (Simpsonville) to Shannon Forest. The move has really benefitted quite well it looks like so far for Smith. Emma and the Lady Crusaders will look to start the SCISA Playoffs later this week.
Smith has some savvy and craftiness on the hardwood. She plays with some swagger at times and has ability to knockdown shots on the perimeter. She will look to slash to the cup at times while setting up her teammates along the way. Can the Lady Crusaders make a move this season in SCISA Class 3A?
Zaria is a legit post player down low for the Lady Stallions. She can clog up the paint at times as a mover-screener. Zaria plays with her back to the basket and really understands on how to keep the ball up high after claiming it off the glass. She’s currently averaging 13.3 ppg and 6.3 rebounds for the Lady Stallions (24-2).
Bell needs to stay out of foul trouble at times and seems a to be a good fit in a nice half-court offense at times.
Spencer had a good season for the Lady Indians. Taylor averaged 17.6 ppg, 6.7 rebounds and 4.1 steals for the Lady Indians (13-12) this season. Spencer seems most comfortable playing off the ball but does sees plenty of opportunities each night to play on the ball.
She tends to take most of her shots from the perimeter and especially from the 3-point line. Taylor attempted 190 three pointers his season. She logged a lot of minutes every night on the floor and rarely came out of games at times.
Highlights
Knox and the Lady Titans will look to compete in the SCISA Class 4A Playoffs which will start later this week. A’Zaria has had a bit of break out season this year. Knox a guard started her career at nearby Hartsville HS before playing the past season 2 seasons at Trinity Collegiate.
She’s currently averaging 17 ppg this season for the Lady Titans. A’Zaria will pick up a lot of her buckets in transition or simply just dropping a floater on the way to the basket.
