How about a 37 spot for Arlington in an opening round win. She was red hot from long range, hitting 7 threes. This could be a huge benefit for Arlington to force teams to play straight up instead of focusing on superstar Jenna Villa Jenna Villa 6’1″ | SF Arlington | 2023 State WA .
Highlights
She already holds the Tumwater single steals record. She was at it again in a quarterfinal win over win over Woodland at the District tournament. She finished with a near triple-double with 19 points ,8 steals, and 9 rebounds. I have written about her defense before, she is a ball-hawk. Next up is GSHL 1 seed Columbia River on Monday.
She has continued to impress with great performances. She scored 28 and had 12 rebounds in a win over Meadowdale in the opening round of the District tournament. A high ceiling guard with outstanding athleticism and a will to win. She is relentless attacking the paint and making things happen for her team.
Highlights
She had 23 points in a quarterfinal win over Ridgefield that saw her become the single season all-time leader in points at W. F. West. She gets it done, nothing fancy just putting the ball in the hoop. That alone helps her to get shots up and to the rim or off the glass in a timely manner. She uses the glass well and rebounding seems to be important to her.
The x-factor hit a huge shot at the end of the game vs a tough Bellarmine Prep squad to give Camas a date in the semi-finals of the district 3/4 4A tournament. She finished with 11 points and one big x-factor stamp.
