D4 Central Highlights from 2/21

Here are some players who caught my attention! </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>Madilyn Elson: PG, 2023, Mount Gilead</strong> I love her handles, and how she controls the basketball, especially on fast break situations! She keeps the ball low and tight, and has a burst of speed that's difficult to catch up to! Great energy to the team, and boy do I love her moves without the ball- she creates scoring opportunities for herself and teammates. Strong moves to the basket, taking it up with authority, but also showed she can certainly hit from outside! And she certainly doesn't mind fighting for rebounds! You can just tell she loves the game, and contributes in any way! Pretty outside shot, nothing but net! She doesn't hesitate, and has great range! Can hit from behind the arc, and finishes strong on transition. I like her defense, particularly in how she reads passes and help side. Under control moves on the block, great footwork, and strong arm! I love how she immediately looks to a guard after rebounding and creates quick transition buckets. Very bright future in college!
